I talked to someone who works at the Dearborn plant on the F-150 line and he told me Raptors are indeed missing parts. The waiting game continues for us i guess
It’s like they never learn from previous years. I guess I don’t understand how their logistics works, but I would want to be sure I have all the parts I need before I start building something. Nobody wants to make 3 trips to Home Depot for the project you’re trying to finish today.

This is a product of the JIT supplier system and suppliers over promise and under deliver.

He didn't specify which part or parts. I don't think its just 1 part all the trucks are waiting on, it sounds like it varies
One of my cousins works at Ford HQ in Michigan and said they still haven’t removed 2023 F150s off the Ford website and you can still build and view that page even though they aren’t taking orders for 23’s. 2024 F150’s are on preview page only. Confirmed that by going on the website just now. Long story short, until they don’t fully sunset the 2023 F150 on the website, they won’t release the 24s for shipment. Could be they still have a lot 23’s left to sell? The fulfillment issue isn’t just with Raptors, it’s all 24 F150s.

None of these posts are making me feel any better about getting my Raptor soon.

I get an update tomorrow from my salesman. I was slated for end of January arrival. I know that’s not happening. I wonder what he’ll say.

One problem is if they keep doing letting 2024s sit until they sell more 2023 is you’ll run into similar dilemma in 2024/2025 even if they don’t change much in the next model year.

We still don't have OKTB on any '24 F150. Have heard parts shortages, HUD (but read notes Raptor as excluded here), leftover '23's and lastly EPA data. Wonder which one is really driving it or if it's, D, all of the above.
