2023 Raptor - Bad Gateway Module

The only other Raptor competitor out there is the Ram TRX. It boils down to what you really want and are you willing to trust Ford?
That’s the question - my 3rd F150 in 3 years - 2021 Platinum powerboost / 2022 Platinum powerboost / 2023 Raptor 37 package - I’ve been a Toyota guy for years but tech in the F150s blow Toyota away…..this latest issue with the gateway module has left a sour taste for sure…..customer service sucks - my dealer washed their hands but where I live and service it at Va beach Ford - they’ve been great…..if everything works out tomorrow with the RAV rep, I’ll hopefully get they code orange raptor 37…..so yeah, back to ford if they make it right this week.

Why wouldn’t they give you full price to begin with? My truck was broke after 8-days and only 490 miles after I took delivery…..
I had my truck for almost a year, put 25k miles on it. I’m sure you’ll get the full amount, and in certain states they will pay for any aftermarket parts you’ve put on.
aven’t spoke to the buyback specialist (RAV) specialists yet….expect to hear from them tomorrow. Did they cut you a check or was it done at the dealer where the truck is sitting
Ford overnights a check from corporate to the dealer that your pick, probably where your truck is sitting now. I had a loan, so they sent the payoff balance to my credit union, and then the rest was at the dealership. My truck was drivable, so I picked a dealership that had a truck I wanted to buy to make things easy.

Customer service sucks? You had a no hassle buy back but they suck? I don’t think I believe your BS no more.
I mean what the f&@k more could you ask for?

Cool - thanks for your feedback - not asking you to believe anything I am saying…..it hasn’t been hassle free - it’s been less than that……just telling the story - I have a 91K that isn’t driveable and get at best, a weekly canned email with zero information. It’s been frustrating…..

Ford is doing the very best they can. I would say their customer service worked for you. If what you are saying is true, I think you’re entitled to taxes, plates and documented costs you incurred. Be happy you did not have to hire an attorney.

In the end Ford did make it right….was frustrating as hell because the limited communications for several weeks….but once it got to the buyback team they were amazing and offered a very fair deal to buy my truck back and thanks to some folks on here I am now driving a 2023 Raptor 37 - Code Orange Metallic - bad ass truck - bad ass color - great peeps on this thread and Stuckey Ford in PA is the real deal…..

Bottom line - I wasn’t trying to bash anyone but I was giving everyone the play by play as I was living it. Believe what you want but I was going through it and had 95K locked up so it was super stressful……anyway thanks for all the support and super stoked to be back in a Raptor…..
