2021 Raptor gauge cluster keeps resetting

Hey All,

My drivers gauge cluster keeps resetting to random views every time I restart my truck. I set the gauges to show what I want in that center part of display (showing oil pressure and vacuum boost) and when I turn it off and restart I get another random screen…hmm. Any thoughts?

The customizable displays revert to the default gauges at every start. That is normal. I haven't investigated if you can make a permanent change using Forscan.

Mine stay saved for the last 1.5 weeks. Only had to reset it once when I did a software update.

Very possible. Mine has reverted a few times in the last 1.5 weeks but I've messed with some software updates at work (my ford dealer) as well as mess with forscan a few times so normally that resets stuff. Today I've started my truck 4 different times already and it still has my oil pressure and boost saved.... So I'd have to say mine don't have the issue. The only issue I have with mine is sometimes my USB flash drive(music drive) locks up and won't do anything till I shut truck off and restart, but when I restart my preset pages go back to 2 instead of 4.

Thanks for linking me in! We posted this at about the same time I guess. I found a thread in another forum where guys were having this issue. Some reported turning off apple car play and Android auto solved this issue. I haven't tried that yet but plan on that in the morning.

Did you try turning off carplay? Does this mean you cannot use CarPlay without giving up the ability to set-up and keep Home Screen gauge layout ? My auto fold mirrors acted up today…when I drove away , only 1 mirror was extended…the passenger side stayed folded. I have to stop and press the folding button several times to get passenger side Mirror to unfold…..hmmm
