Semi off topic. I just got my Raptor and every time I start the truck it give me a notification about connecting to wifi or through Ford Pass for updates. Dose that mean I have an update? or is it just telling me that every time I start the truck?

I’m pretty sure what that means. I remember seeing that before I updated mine(19’).

After my update, my system has been incredibly unreliable. It locks up damn near every time I drive my truck. I have to manually reset it and sometimes it works fine. I have to take it in to get it fixed.

Just completed the update. Tried downloading from my mac and I was having issues getting the info to download to my rig. Tried from a PC today and was successful. Any reason why I was only able to download version 3.0? I have a 2018.

My truck did the same thing at every startup asking me to connect to wifi. I am not sure why this question keeps displaying because I have never been able to update my sync via wifi. And I don't anyone that has updated via wifi.

In theory, I have the most recent update so the notification should not appear again. I will report back when I go home after work if at startup I get the same notification.

My advice is create an account and check if you have a pending update.

What you guys want to do is go to Settings > General > Automatic System Updates and toggle that off. Doing that stopped the 'Connect to WiFi' messages for me

My wife has a 2018 F150 and she is in the same situation as your truck in that version 3.0 is pending but not 3.3.

Thanks. I would like to leave auto-updates on if possible but if it means that I have the warning every time I start the truck then I guess I'll turn it off.

So let’s say your truck is new with v.3.3 How do I tell the site what version I am at? I’m going to poke around the site further and see. I doubt v3.4 is released yet.
This would be me. Mine is a 2019 and my Sync3 is Version 3.3 as shown on the screen.
When I look at the Ford Owners site it show like as in the above post. “There is an update available....ver 3.3.
But I have ver 3.3 already.
Is this an update that I need?
Or do i need to wait till I see an update that says 3.4?
Maybe its an updated ver 3.3????
Maybe I’m good as is?
