The 19 rides great on the road. A 100 times better than my Gen 1. I can’t compare it to a 17-18, but my last two cars are a 550 and Gen 1. The 550 had a great suspension. Tha suspension on the 19 is awesome. Fly over bumps without floating. Turn without body roll....get the picture. I road over bumps in the tonight (commute that I have down for 12 years) that had my 14 floating and the 19 was planted and smooth. I can’t imagine that they aren’t an improvement over 17-18, but can’t say for a fact since I have not ridden in a 17-18.

I tried to take it off-road this weekend, but the track was closed due to rain.

I am hoping sometime soon we can ride in each other's trucks on and off road, and give everyone a good comparison between the two of us.

Yea, I'll bet you mouth. Obviously you have no freakin clue as to what your talking about. Did you know every vehicle is different, no matter if build exactly the same, at the same plant, same people, etc. Several of us back in the day all had brand new 5.0 Mustangs, had them dynoed, brand new and every one had a different HP rating, some by as much as 22hp. Can 22hp make a difference is take off speed, short times(60foot), the answer is YES. I know what my 60 ft and 1/8, 1/4 times were on my 2017 Raptor. I will run the new Raptor as soon as the track opens back up. I have several rentals lined up for next year already for my race car testing, so I have full access to the track. I have no issues sending a third party on here funds, you do the same. And then I will post my 17 times and 19 times. If the 19 is faster, you pay up. Screw the $200, let's make it $2000. That is how confident I am mouthy...

The shocks should 'squat' less upon take off, which should translate to better grip (less slipping), meaning you get a better launch in 2H. I would find it nigh impossible to believe that a boosted Sport 4A launch would be faster. Time to beat is 5.1 seconds.

So you are saying that it is possible for the 17 to be faster than 19? Since same cars might be built different even for same year.
that means that 2019 being faster is false then! still makes my point. Thanks for the complement

I will not be willing to bet $2000. I will rather travel oversea with that amount of money!
$200 visa card. I will also ask another professional on youtube to verify it

Olo since when did 450 HP become > 450 HP.?
2017/18 has 450HP
2019 has 450HP.
Are you guys alright? Seriously are you well?

BMW n54 was '300' hp. LS1 in a 4th gen fbod only had '305' hp and ran magic 1/4 times. 2001 C5Z had 385hp but the 2002 'only' had 20 more hp. How much power does the latest coyote 5.0 make?

More to point, this thing is so digital and nannied, any number of things could have changed its engine feel and actual performance. Torque management loosened up, a couple extra lbs of boost at various points, nannies could allow slip, hell its peak power could have been turned up 20hp and Ford just didn't change the rating.

Or Ford aimed for the same power and vehicle to vehicle variance explains it. Or ccso285's butt needs recalibration.

I wouldn't be surprised by any of the outcomes.

True ----------------> It will improve offroad performance and jump landing/bottoming out
False----------------> It wont improve takeoff speed. Hell no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Weight and Horse Power determine this not damn shocks!

This was the best laugh I have had all day. True HP and weight do make the vehicle faster, however all the HP and weight reduction doesn't mean shit if you can't effectively get it to the ground.

And yes I am speaking from experience both with my Raptor and plenty of other vehicles I own. For my Raptor after we built the motor with the upgrades, I had to do work on both my front suspension and rear to handle the extra power. With the amount of HP I am currently running the stock rear had really bad wheel hop when I would go more than 70% throttle on take off. Rear end was also very easy to break loose. ended up beefing up the rear so it isn't as soft and can handle the added HP. I was very close to having to 4 link the rear. Which this is what is typically done in higher HP vehicles.

I haven't gotten on it that hard yet, but I did lower the tire pressure to 35 in front and 34 in back. When I drove it home from the dealer they were 46 all around and when I got home the outside 1-1/2" on each tire was clean, it had not touched the ground. That leaves a lot of rubber not working to keep everything in control. After I get used to it, I plan on going to 33 and 32 to see how that does. I now have about 300 miles on it and by this weekend I will have over 500 so time to "test" it out. I have found out that manufacturers put high pressures to help fuel mileage, although radial tires are not that effected (mileage wise) by pressure. However if only part of the tires touches the ground, it will help rolling resistance, and help mileage.

Also a couple of times I did need to put on the brakes harder than I like during the brake in period, and did not experience much front end dive at all.
