Huck, IIRC our shocks actually aren't 3.0; they have a double wall for the internal bypass. That said, I think the livevalve are the same bore.

Live valves are the exact same as a 17-18 shock, except it can tune itself on the fly from 0-100. At 50% it functions identically to a 17-18 shock.

Is the Gen2 Raptor Fox's bore|piston diameter the same as something like the Fox factory race 3.0 external bypass, or the King 3.0 piston size? I thought it was a little smaller than what's commonly advertised as '3.0'.

The OD of my rear tubes are right at 3", and I'm assuming a double wall for the internal bypass -> smaller piston than the factory external bypass 3.0.

True dat. I don't own raptor.
However, 2019 raptor does not have a takeoff faster than 2017/18. FACT as well. Want to bet $100 Visa gift cards, or $200 donation to a charity of our choice? let me know which you pick.

There is a lot more to acceleration than weight and horsepower. There is gearing, and shift points. Computer controls turbo spool and wastegates. Power transfer through transmission and transfer case. Changes to one or any of these will change seat of pants feel.
