Changed the oil/filter and added 6 quarts + a little extra. Checked dipstick and now shows oil coating between low and high mark's so it was definately low. Looks like she is burning some oil since I changed the oil myself last time.

Also installed Fumoto valve.

Is there a TSB related to oil consumption?

I don't know if this helps, but a Ford service tech told me to insert the dipstick with the measuring side up other wise you get a false read.

Additionally, my 2019 screw was burning oil and threw an error about low oil pressure. I took it in to Ford service and they said there was a TSB (tech service bulletin) for oil consumption. I think they said they had to go through the valves to replace some stuff and a bunch of other work.

I had about 3600 to 4000 miles on when I took it in.

.

I have always know to compare both sides of the stick.

The goal is to be dead solid between the two holes. the top one if for when the engine is dead cold (old the oil is in the pan), the bottom one is for a warm engine (oil is up in the block)

Not trying to sound like a smarta** or anything, but if your truck is 2019, why are you worried about the oil level?

Your truck should be under warranty and it has built in technology to tell you if the oil is low. Just take to a dealer, pay a few bucks to have the oil changed and save yourself the headache.

I went ahead and changed the oil myself over the weekend and installed the Futomo valve. After knowing how much oil I put into the truck (6 quarts) I now know how the dipstick should read. I did contact a dealership regarding this and they were going to research the TSB and get back to me.

Thanks for the input from all.
