i wouldn't let them near my truck again. As stated, get documentation in writing. Also document new issue with dealership, and any other issues that arise. Get them to get you at least a 100k warranty. Drive the unmerciful shit out of it. If it lets go, its on them. If not, who cares, you're good to 100k.

I had a lube monkey not tighten the oil filter on my truck once, I caught it before it backed off too far but it still made a decent mess, could be as simple as that
Same thing happen to me. It takes a good grip to do it right especially when u use Ford Performance filter which is much bigger than regular

and all of this is why...even though my dealer gave "free" oil changes for 2 years.....on 2 cars i bought the same night......I do my own oil changes.

My wife thinks I am crazy, but i dont have the patience to explain to her the countless stories like this from the 35 years i have been a licensed driver.

They have put it in writing, I can’t believe this happened at all. How on a routine F150 oil change a gross error can be made like this. Dealers must do thousands of these per year

Totally unacceptable in my opinion.

I would insist on an extended warranty, with free oil changes for life. :)

lol, so the fix is getting unlimited of what caused the problem? Hard pass.

Like others have said, get Ford proper CS involved, have one of their engineers or a tech you trust do an inspection at their cost. Any issues they should be financial culpable for.

Also insist on a 100k warranty. But I wouldn't let a wrench from their shop within 10ft of my truck.

And, obviously, ignore the hairy woodland creature. My five year old has more Raptor experience than it does.

So where does one go if they want a oil change and too busy to do it themselves?

If dealers suck--who doesn't?

Someone you know and trust. Everyone else is a gamble, unless you watch them.
I see you're in central TX, I have a guy that works at a shop out in Bee Cave, he used to turn wrenches for me when I was in the biz. Honest as the day is long, and solid. Other than that, best you can do is get a sharpy and write something like the date, or whatever, on the filter to make sure it was even changed.
