Sounds like the dealer either didn't tighten the filter or maybe had a damaged gasket. Regardless chalk it up to cranial ****** inversion at the dealership service dept.

It was the dealer, they didn’t tighten the oil filter double gasket down. They fully admitted it, the oil was completely empty in the truck. I’ve never seen incompetence like this at any dealer before. I’ve also had a negative experience at another local ford dealer with my truck.
The service quality at the two ford dealers I’ve been to so far is ridiculous. How does this stuff happen on a routine oil change.
She picked it up from the dealer today and Is now saying the truck is surging while she is driving it
I think they should give her a new truck or at minimum a free extended warranty
Any thoughts?
