Heres the deal that I ended up with
In June of 2019 I purchased 2018 Raptor SCREW Lightning blue $53,660.
802a $9,770.
Twin Pano Moonroof $1,295.
Exterior graphics package $1,075.
Hood Graphics Package $900.
Raptor Tech Package $1,950.
Second row heated seats $125.
Spray in Bedliner $495.
Tonneau cover dealer installed but on the actual window sticker $995.

The Tech Package was a separate option back then, now I believe it is considered standard on 2020`s not positive on the 2019`s I have seen some selling both versions

Truck $53,660.
Options $16,605.
Destination $1,495.

MSRP $71,760.00

I paid $60k plus tax and registration and only 30 miles on it

I live in NJ but I found the truck upstate NY

Voted best pre runner package !!!

So is the summary of this post was the OP actually wanted to purchase a 2yr old new truck for the ONLY reason because of the seats? And the upgraded shocks and a new 2020 wasn't worth that type of offset?
What??

It’s rather obvious why the truck has been on their lot since 2018 when they won’t budge on the price.

New Raptors in my area sell for 63-67 new and sticker in the 74 ish range. I do not think that Ford offers their rebates and incentives on those trucks at least with the dealers I know. If I could have bought a fully loaded Raptor with every option that you can get on one for 59-60k then I would have bought new.

I agree with you as well. I also read there a chance with trucks left over that long that the dealers marked them as sold to FORD and they could have the warranty started based on that date and not a real sale date. I dont mind the cloth bolsters on the 19's and 20's. I just got a quote for 10k off a 2019 in Maine (4 hours from me). Truck is 802a, moonroof, tech package, forged wheels, carbon, tailgate step, spray in bed liner, heated rear seats, and NO GRAPHICS (THANK GOD). If they can give me a good trade in offer ill be making a drive up to maine this weekend! Its literally every option and only the options I spec when i build them online

buy the one in Maine and have leather seats added. Still cheaper then the 3k they want to give you

I was more curious what you guys thought about pricing for a 2018 thats still new. I do still prefer the seats in the 2018 but its not a big deal to me. I really could care less about the shock upgrade to be honest. I do care about re-sale and depreciation which is why i went with the 2020

I'm feeling pretty good about paying 51,700 for a 2018 CPO with 28k last month! Sticker was 71k. Don't think I could ever talk myself into a new one...

Did you have a Trade? $60K is way below invoice and holdback. Dealer would have lost 3-4$ on that deal. Congrats!

Hey Guys,

My local dealer has a 2018 raptor still on the lot. It is still new never sold. I have been trying to negotiate with them as I kind of prefer the full leather interior of the 2018's. Has anyone encountered this before with a Raptor on the lot thats 2 model years old (soon to be 3)? What would you expect to pay below sticker on one? They are offering me 3K below sticker. There are 2019's in my area being offered for 6k below sticker. I thought this would be a good negotiating point to get a great deal on a new raptor but they wont budge below the 3K mark. What do you guys think?

Thanks Guys!
I bought a 2018 roush in June for 14,500 below sticker in Jersey.
