I was more curious what you guys thought about pricing for a 2018 thats still new. I do still prefer the seats in the 2018 but its not a big deal to me. I really could care less about the shock upgrade to be honest. I do care about re-sale and depreciation which is why i went with the 2020
Take it then this raptor will spend its life on pavement or smooth dirt roads if any.

I had a friend who found a mustang on a lot brand new 3 years old and his pre approved bank loan didn't honor the rate and loan term because they didn't consider it a new vehicle.

Thats what I am saying. I cannot believe they wont budge price. I literally sent them the quote I got for a 2019. I was offered 24K for my trade and 6K off sticker for a 2019 with better options. They said the best they can do is 3300 off sticker and 24k trade. I figure with the given pandemic i can just sit and let them get desperate. I am also curious if anyone has ever heard of a raptor being on the lot for that long. Build date on this one is 10/20/2018
That sounds crazy !!!! It's a no brainer.. Get the 19 and forget the 18. even though it's new it's still depreciating. Get the 19.. I have one and I love it..

Dealership may as well park it and store it for 15 -20 years and never title then sell it . I don't think any body going to pay their price for a depreciated soon to be 3 year old truck.

whenever the next redesign occurs, it won’t be getting the oohs and ahhs from truck shoppers that Jenny commands right now. They may be sitting on it until the ’19’s and ’20’s dry up, thinking that when new inventory is out, they have a chance. They don’t, but who knows. Remember we had folks --paying-- 10, 15, 20 and yes, even 25k OVER MSRP back in 2017. I think the highest I saw admitted to here was 15k over, but it may have been 10, I don’t remember.

I can’t wrap my head around the price they’re asking for a 2 year old truck so I can’t imagine the thought process going into next year with it still on the lot. Tax write off?

In 2018 when I bought mine, all of the dealers in Seattle area were selling them at $10k markup and laughed when you tried to offer less. They were also **** about test drives. One dealer had two identical Raptors behind ropes as if it was a museum exhibit. It felt like all the dealers were following in each others stupidity. I managed to find one at a decent price (for the time) after visiting around 7 dealerships—such a waste of time to buy a truck.

I managed to snag my 18 in March of 2018 for $1500 under MSRP, which was almost unheard of at the time. It took me 5-6 weeks to finally track down the one I wanted at a price I was willing to pay in a small East Texas town. I was very happy and I have been enjoying mine for more than 2 years.

Fast forward to today with COVID-19 prices and I got ripped off by current standards... Who knew ??

I will not be trading mine in anytime soon, as I have a lot of $$ into it and I see no need for the live shocks...
