Damm the color Gray should be much darker.

This truck just looks too fragile, I know it's not. Sometimes kids are less attractive than their parents. Gen 1 is a better looking truck than gen 2. Sad but true.

Nice pictures! Still can't wait to see it in person at TRR. Still have mixed feelings about this truck but it is what it is and everyone has different taste of what they like. Over all sweet pics though!

Those tow hooks look to be solid lightweight titanium. Goes with the whole light weight concept of the whole truck and contributes to it being 500 lbs lighter than the outgoing truck.

look like steel to me, but of course your the eggspurt when it comes to metallic alloys, compounds and materials and weight distribution

I know Moab's Hells Revenge is not exactly Raptor friendly but after our running that trail last weekend, those tailpipes are toast...

Of course the Gen2 defenders will droan about how the Raptor shouldn't be on Hells Revenge and that's not the point here... the following day we hit washed out ditches, something that could be found anywhere in the desert while off-roading that my hitch hit the dirt pretty good so the tailpipes are bound to get damaged pretty easily.

Actually Hellls Revenge is a very easy trail, too easy for my taste. I took a show room fresh rig on it. And plenty wide for a Raptor. Most vehicles you buy are going to drag the tail end in Utah on any of the 230,213 ledges....no wait thats just on Golden Spike and Poison Spider alone....Anyhow I would take a Raptor on most trails in Moab. The width may take away some fun, but can you imagine hummer hill in a Raptor? Bottom line is auto makers put huge as silly exhaust tips on rigs to look cool...but its nothing a few Utah ledges and a sawzall back home wont fix.

If good tow hooks are your #1 priority.

more importantly, nothing that a quick disconnect of the exhaust tips can't prevent (both the stock and aftermarket tips from roush disconnect so you can wheel and reinstall on Monday for street duty).

Pinching the exhaust tips and then driving it home because it's ford tough could be a bad call

add that to the "things you didn't know you knew about raptor" thread
