Is that not also a transmission skid plate in that picture? Improvement.

--Cheers

Yep, it is. But that is more likely their because of the Ecoboost engine. Current ecoboost trucks have a transmission shield, although its just a piece of hard foam. Nice to see they went metal for it on the Raptor.

I'm looking forward to the sudden onslaught of Gen1 owners shipping off their aftermarket parts before selling the truck in advance of buying a Gen2.

One big giant garage sale....

Dont forget to check craigslists of oil boom towns, they are hurting so a lot of young guys are selling their trucks and parts.

Great pics Chris, thanks for posting them!

Had I been there, I would have been tempted to clean those wheels and tires, and the tailpipes, and wipe the tire shine overspray off the wheel wells, and use some trim dressing on the scratched flares, and rip that hunk of plastic off the tailgate. :ROFLJest:

You should have been there a couple years ago when the "detail" guy was using Windex on the paint of a Lexus LFA. lol

Yeah, that's the one thing I did notice. I'm really surprised that they showed the truck in that condition. I get it, that it's an off-road inspired truck, but mine looks cleaner than that now and I didn't do a full detail today.

If I was selling mine, it damn sure would have been a lot cleaner than this one.

I wonder, Chris, did the GT have road grime and scratches all over it like the Raptor did? I would think not......

Dan - maybe this is a good show to be at next year with an ADAMS POLISHES booth. Invite the dealers to bring some cars over and show them how to REALLY clean their cars properly!!!

I don't know Ruby, he'd have some tough competition between the Shamwow guy and the all in one miracle scratch remover guy in the back corner of the show.

I saw this same truck at the Atlanta Auto show yesterday. First impression is that it is smaller than my Gen 1. Almost like 7/8 scale. I haven't seen any dimensions of the gen 2 yet. Is it smaller, or just an appearance thing?
