for anyone late to the discussion, this is the difference in the frame wall thickness as observed at the oval shaped hole on the inside of the frame directly above the bump stop

Very stealthy of Ford to quietly reinforce the inside layer of the inside of the frame rail. They didn't count on SDHQ's oval frame kit fit issue combined with the sleuths at FRF. You guys are blowin' the lid off of this one!

Ha ha ha going to be fun asking them about this at the tour. Now we need to see if the regular 2013 F150 is the same way...

What is a great thing is the exposure by places like this put the problem up front and center.. Impossible to be ignored. Wonder what the composition of the added material is? Would love to know that. Discussed with one of the engineers at work that does this for a living and that was his comment.
