After seeing them side by side in that last post, I think I'd almost rather the retros. The stock ones do look sick though too.

I freaking LOVE those beadlocks though.

My heads will be hear on monday. I still need to get the bulbs and ballast. I got the wire pigtails and will put the harness together so install will be the same as a retro set, very simple.

Hosse, did you say the ballast you got are actually the flex ones but they are the same ?

Yup. The flex, explorer and Lincoln MDX etc are all the same. I consulted an eBay seller and had him measure hole to hole center to center to make sure the holes line up. I'll post the part number of my ballasts shortly.

Ford should have put SVT in the headlight instead of f150. Headlights look good though.

I had always thought the same. Looks to me like they just paint the housings anyway so I'm sure their excuse would be cost effectiveness.

I can confirm that as well. The listed part # for the 13 F150 HID is not the same as any other Ford vehicle.

The part number I used is 7L7Z-13C170-A.

Those are readily available on ebay used for around $45 ea. Basically any Osram ballast with the green and orange sticker will work. I think they fit Mustangs too. Basically all 2010 and up Ford/Lincoln products seem to be the same.

I used that part number on two retros and they worked perfect. Perfect fit, plugs correct, etc.

I like the beads. They do remind me of the 2010-11 models from a distance though. I bet they would look sick plastidipped! :) here's a comparison of your 13's versus a retro set of 12's

Thanks for putting those pics up. I was wondering if I wanted to go with retro or oem but now it's oem all the way

I wish someone who has 2013 Raptor with HID would take pictures of OEM wiring setup. Just for knowledge only.

Hosseface and other members who pioneer on this installation are great. I cannot appreciate enough that they put time and effort into it. Thank you very much.
