someone is selling a plug and play HID harness on ebay for pretty cheap.

not to take any business away from others on here producing them, just thought it was interesting and would share.

2009-2013 Ford F150 HID H13 Adapting Harness | eBay

Thats a GREAT BUY. When he listed those I withdrew my for sale ad. I can't touch that. It cost me about $150 to make one. I would like to see one of those to see build quality because considering the H13 harness from TRS is $35 + shipping and the (2) Motorcraft Pigtails are $29 ea = that just doesnt add up. Good for him though to able to produce them for that cost.

Not even in the same ballpark. Like comparing apples to oranges. Get a set of the OEM 13 HIDs in your hands and you'll see what Im talking about.

Yeah if ur talking about getting recons and putting hid's in ur better off lighting that money on fire and using that to light the road

Hell yes! They are total garbage! I wouldn't install them in my ex wife or mother in laws cars.

No, I had those shit box lights....

I'm talking about the F-150 lessor models have for the 2013 model year a halogen projector as well as a HID projector light, so I'm told.

Buy the OEM halogen and do a HID kit.

I'll do more checking, but my dealer told me this, also the first prices mentioned on here are way higher than the later posts and I was bothered some people might drop over a grand for two housings.

Jeff

crap now I'm seeing pics that the halogen are not projector sytle...my apologies everyone

So is no body else doing this conversion? From all of the interest, I expected to see several other doing it.

Oh I'm very interested. I'm just too lazy and unedumacated to do it myself.

I'm just waiting for Ducati to open them up and do some led rings and paint then make it all PNP.

Expecting a couple month delay based on current parts availablity.:banghead:

Some of the new oem parts are trickling out. Bulbs were just released, retail price is about $350 per bulb, LMAO. I can get them for $250 per, still ridiculous. Expect new oem ballast to be the same, they should be available this week. All oem would be over 2K

Im working with TRS on a plug and play harness they will produce also switching to a D1S or D2S bulb($35-$50 a pair) and much better quality then a D3S bulb. I can also secure 20 pair of the same Osram ballast that are slightly used ($100 pair)

The headlight will not have to be opened so that will keep cost down even more, but I could if someone wanted further mods.

Should be about another week and Ill have a set price and be able to get them out very quickly.

Well, there you go. The man has spoken. For me to purchase these 2013's the decision will be based on customization and price after.

I've saved for 6 months and got a pretty good mod budget. I do have my eyes on an add stealth fighter bumper too though.

Retrofits are first on the list. Either 09 through 12 fxr build or 2013's if the price is right. Wherever I can get the most bang for my buck.

I like being on the vanguard but my trigger finger is getting itchy and my pockets are starting to get holes burnt in them.:D
