I updated my ASBUILT for ForScan post, a few posts up.

I originally used 5753-XXXX-XXXX for 7D0-02-01 (region) and 0001 XX for 7D0-04-02 (parking sensor type). This caused my parking sensors to fault and for the speed limit signs to look european in the navigation.

I've updated the following, which sets the region to north america and the correct parking sensor config:

7D0-02-01 5553-XXXX-XXXX
7D0-04-02 0004 E1

Now everything works perfectly.

I just installed my SYNC 3 APIM and screen this morning. I was going to make the module updates in Forscan but my battery drained down while I was doing the install so that will have to wait (or I'll have to make the updates with the engine running). Anyway, it was a fairly straightforward install. I found @thecarstereocompany's thread and video super useful for disassembling and removing the old radio. https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/how-to-disassemble-your-truck.41787/

The hardest part up until now was finding the screen and APIM online for a decent price.

For those ballers on a budget (like myself), I ended up piecing everything together for $500 for a total "PnP package" - no pigtails or hacking wires. That also includes the FORScan cable. The cheapest screen I could find is when I went searching for the Escape screens. When I would search for other models the price would jump $150-300 easily.

I can post my spreadsheet with part numbers if anyone is interested but currently waiting on delivery for everything. Hoping that since I have a 2014 my front camera will still work based on the information and findings posted already in this thread.

Also, there is a guy on the Fusion boards who can program the APIM for a decent price. I may go that route if I totally ***** it up.

I currently use NavTV (lockpick or motion bypass) with my Sync 2 to force On the Front Camera / Rear Camera when I want to. Ofcourse bypassing the Motion Lockout too. So I called NavTV and Infotainment.com in regards to Sync3.

From what they are telling me just as long the Sync3 is programmed with my Vin # (2013 model) and using the NavTV module I should NOT lose the functionality of the Front Camera.
I'm not going to piece my Sync3 together. Going to bite the bullet and order from Infotainment.com. They'll program the unit to my Vin 2013 and go from there. Will keep you updated if I am successful.

I just can't justify the $600+ cost for programming. Especially when there are other folks who are doing the same for less than $100. I'm sure you are also paying for QA and the company's time for testing everything to make sure it functions before it gets to you and their support, but I'm just a cheapskate :D

I get it....If i can save a buck i would. I don't have the time and patience. I'll just pay someone to do it.....
Let you know if everything works out...

The camera on my 2014 still worked after the Sync 3 install. As for the programming, it really doesn’t take long with Forscan as there aren’t that many lines in the APIM to program. I used the values that @rkneeshaw posted earlier in this thread (with two exceptions - 1) bypassing the navigation in motion lockout and 2) switching the splash screen to the Raptor screen) and had no issues.

Awesome! Appreciate for your input and I hope to have the same luck to confirm 2014 is fine for the front camera. Hoping the weather gets warmer in these next few weeks so I can tackle it.
