Undercarriage. Mostly done bottom side but gotta tidy up wiring, lines, hoses.

Notice the similarities vs 2021 Raptor exhaust system! Equal length 3" 304 Stainless with balance tube. (I prefer it over X pipe for sound) I think Ford Performance stole my idea! They can start sending me checks! HAHAHA.

is this anyones here? I found it online. Gives a good indication possibilities of my truck being 2200 lb lighter and because of tire/wheel combo alone it should put down more power on E50

2019 Ford F150 RAPTOR Dyno Dynamometer Results Graph
Horsepower: 511.00 HP
Torque: 563.00 ft-lbs

12.664 @ 106.030 in the 1/4 mile

Not a fan of the CV kits or full frame swap. Ruins the truck for me. Although I did a narrowed CV swap in a friends truck. Any mod on this truck can be easily reversed. I had extra inner fenders and core support so had to do a few mods to them as wanted all Raptor parts filling the engine bay. TONS of extra work but on road any dealer should have what I need if I do have a issue.

Goal was to maintain 100% of stock frame and also stick with Twin I Beam front suspension. I also used stock F150 engine mounts as ford spent millions developing them why change them. I did have to weld a small bracket on drivers side near steering gear box which would be very easy to remove. Zero other mods to frame although to get the 10R80 to fit I had to slightly modify the transmission crossmember then modify the stock F150 trans mount to fit.

Truck is being built as a long distance cruiser with a goal of 900 miles per fuel fill. Which is 840 ***** stops for a old guy but at least if in middle of nowhere fuel will be ok. Hoping to mostly run E50. Goal is 25 mpg at 65 mph.
That’s very cool, and actually somewhat unique these days as frame swaps seem to be very common. Cool you’re retaining as much original truck as possible.

Will the stock frame support that much HP or do you think eventually you’ll have to box and support it? (Even as a cruiser, it’s a lot of torque to support.)

Really interesting project, thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks! prior to this I had a 482 cu in FE engine on steroids and it was total fine how I use it. I just may have the first 1966 F100 Pretzel! If I were doing a lot of drag runs etc it would be a wise thing to do stiffen it up. I do hope to do a few track days/ autocross but it will be minimal. I want to keep it stock APPEARING less the tire wheel combo. Having owned the truck over 21 years now I have 5 or 6 other '66 Trucks I can mess with. I did have my first ecoswap where I used a new F150 frame & all electronics.
