Loose vacuum, IWE engages. Have vacuum, IWE’s are sucked away from the engagement of the hub

Very cool. Going to be headed down there in March. What tire pressure are you running? Do you pack a compressor?

Nice trips, I'm still uneasy about driving alone in Mexico.

This fall I am headed back to Utah......
Can you please explain more about the vacuum line? exactly which one and maybe even the part number. Sorry, I know I am asking a lot but I would like to prepare. I also do my runs alone (wife & I), I would like to add this part to my packing list, if it's possible to change in the field.

Is the truck drivable when it breaks?

Its a check valve its about a $2 part but they will charge you $277 to replace it. I also showed the dealer when i dropped it off and they laughed... was in the shop 2 weeks... they thought it was the tranny then the hub etc... And it ended up been the check valve i told them to change. Sometimes i really wonder Ford.

Every time I read one of Kent's posts I wonder if I'll ever make enough money to not give a **** and disappear for a week at a time and beat up my 70k truck + 10k in mods.

Living the life! I find these motivational, keep 'em coming!

HAHA!!!! That was very funny amigo! I wish i was only 70 + 10

I see the 619 in your name fellow San Diego man

I bring two full size spares and tire patch kit. Good idea to have a Compressor.

On the 37s i drop down to 30 PSI sometimes even keep it around 27

No i don't ask for anything from Cameron. These are all routes i have tried over 10 years of trips. I have a lowrance HDS 7 that i use to map everything. I have also used leadnav to help find my way a few times. I also Look at old race maps and see if there are some cool routes.

I have found some bitchen routes and lost some cool ones due to hurricanes.
-I really want this other route reopened after this last hurricane down towards Agua Verde and i have already talked to the local ranchers to clear it out if i wanna pay for the fuel. So im thinking about it.
