cmon man. You are getting rapped and justify the perv's action by saying maybe he really had to get laid.
Not getting rapped(sic) at all. It's more like paying for a pro. We negotiate a price. If I think it's too high, I walk. No one is forcing you to pay that price. You're just whining because it's more than you want to pay. Pretty much everything I buy I wish I could buy cheaper. That and $5 might buy me a cup of drip at Starsux if they still let me in the drive through.

So for those that do offroad, which are less and less on this forum these days. The Gen 3, and guess the R, isn't yet a great offroad platform. The stock suspension really isn't up to the job and a bit disappointed that Ford apparently did not do an overhaul for the R. The bed cant handle much weight (spares, jack, gas, etc = no Bueno), and we don't yet have any real after-market suspension setups to compensate. A mid-travel Gen2 outperforms the Gen 3 setup with the best the aftermarket offers. As much as I want the Gen 3, and the R, I am sticking with the SVC Gen2 that gets me into, and out of, plenty of oh shit moments every run...

It feels less and less "baja" inspired with each new iteration, as the interior becomes more over the top. But that's where the profit is for Ford unfortunately.

I Like how you started out with 'paying for a pro' and ended with 'buy me a cup of drip at Starsux'. Those of us with minds in the gutter noticed a connection.

This will be an extremely limited run. Inflation wont matter anyway. You might be into something with the EPA numbers tho. Overall at 110k pricepoint, Ford is dipping into real Baja trucks pricing. 110k+ ADM + TTL is a $150k truck. If you pay $150k on a Ford half assed release you either go through a divorce or you have no common sense

Out of curiosity, if you think the truck will sell for $150 after ADM, why is Ford at fault for taking a bigger cut of the profits? I mean, they built, designed, and marketing the thing where it pretty much sells itself.

Ford with their allocation system is creating the enviroment for dealers to mark up inventory. FCA doesnt have this issue on TRX/392's or chargers/challengers. Dealer allocation is diferent than customer orders. Ford commingles the two allowing dealers to take advantage of its customers. Buy dealer allocation TRX is 80k , buy it by placing a factory order is 68k
