I do high end color change vinyl wraps for a living and I think PPF is a difficulty level above what I do (in some ways). Doing it DIY is totally up to you and is more about what your comfortable with as an end result. If you happen to have a lighter color Raptor, that will help as it won’t show...
Which would mean they’re making 700ish bhp and nearly 800 ft/lb at the crank. It may be possible but I’m guessing it’ll only be fun for a couple thousand miles until it grenades. I’ve read that our motors are only RELIABLE on stock internals up to about 600ish bhp. I’m not an expert, it’s just...
Any idea on pricing for the Stage 2? Will there be a TCM tune? Is there an update list we can get on for the FMIC (besides stalking y'alls Instagram and/or this thread)?
Hey @COBB Tuning... Any chance us early Stage 1+ Buyers can continue to upgrade to the Stage 2 and or 3 at the Stage discounted price? I know buying stages as a package are cheaper than a la carte but I personally couldn’t wait for the 2 and 3 to be released :)
I don’t know about the non Cobb intake as I purchased the Stage 1+ kit and didn’t already have a CAI. As for the Turbosmart VTA BOV, I already had one installed at the time of my Cobb purchase. I inquired about it prior to buying and one of Cobb’s tech support guys stated that they had not...
Stoaked!! Mine should be here Thursday. CAI is pretty standard and AP seems straight forward but please let us know if there are any hurdles or tips you have during the install.
I’m actually purchasing the Stage 1+ kit directly from Cobb right now. I emailed to ask about the VTA BOV and 3.5” AFE exhaust I have on the truck already. They said that DP’s are not currently supported by their maps but the exhaust should not be an issue. As for my BOV, they said that the OTS...
I nearly pulled the trigger on the Whipple stage 1 kit when I saw Cobb teasing Raptor parts. I just don’t like that you can’t have your factory tune from Whipple unless there is an issue and even then, it’s not YOUR factory tune.
Have heard that the FP tune will likely be the Whipple tune. My understanding was that the Shelby kits were using Whipple parts/tunes. Read that on the Whipple thread.
I’m guessing they’ll announce it after the Whipple Black Friday sale is over. Oh well, it’s probably worth the couple hundred bucks to wait and see what COBB can offer. The suspense is definitely painful though!!
