Cobb’s website says additional maps will be available with the parts soon. So those of us running intakes, downpipes, intercoolers and exhausts should wait then?

I’m actually purchasing the Stage 1+ kit directly from Cobb right now. I emailed to ask about the VTA BOV and 3.5” AFE exhaust I have on the truck already. They said that DP’s are not currently supported by their maps but the exhaust should not be an issue. As for my BOV, they said that the OTS map doesn’t take that into account so it could cause some odd behavior and they recommend swapping back to factory BOV.Cobb’s website says additional maps will be available with the parts soon. Maps are available for 91 and 87 as well.Well shit, I dont have 93 octane where Im at, only 91...
No current plans to add ACN specific 91 maps. The standard 91 maps should work well on ACN fuel as they are slightly less aggressive than we would typically offer. With the Ford ECU's ability to add in timing, we are able to find a balance with base timing values where trucks running good quality fuel will see slightly more than advertised.Do you know if they are planning to release ACN maps? I don't see those listed, only regular 87, 91 & 93
ACN = AZ, CA, NV maps for the ****** fuel in these states.
Dynamic Pedal Control is disabled in the Stage 0 map. The stage 1 tune is probably fine to tow with, I towed a small trailer with 800lbs on it no problems. Cobb just hasn't had a chance to do extensive tow testing to sign off on it yet for extreme towing.
COBB's staged performance maps are designed for performance driving and have not been optimized for use when towing. COBB Recommends flashing the Stage 0 "Stock Style" ecu mapping to utilize the factory engine programming with the benefits of being able to still use features like COBB Dynamic Pedal Control, view gauges, and record datalogs

Vaporware. People have been claiming this will be out "soon" since May (go back and look at the posts in May). Yet again it has been pushed back a few weeks.
If it ever does ship, I hope it works out for those of you who are buying sight unseen. I just read through the Whipple threads (who'd I consider a brand with a good history) and it seems that hasn't lived up to the hype.
Despite some guys from COBB saying "this is awesome", I for one am looking forward to hearing some real-world numbers to see if the $ is warranted.
Who knows, I'll probably end up going this direction myself if people who actually get the product don't end up being disappointed (like many of the Whipple buyers)
