Cracked start button

Anyone else have this? Mine is starting to develop it (not the best picture but my dealership sent in a claim).

These posts from 2017 and 2018 are worse than mine. We all joked back then they must have been hammering on the button, but having seen that, I tried to be careful, and still have the crack.

Why is the interior on these trucks so fragile?

Never seen that...strange.

Appears to be a defect in the plastic composite button

Mine's cracked. Buddy's with F-350 is cracked too.

I do not like these start/stop buttons.
In the early 2000 Fords, keys were chipped and much harder to steal. Ford went backwards with their new technology, so easy to steal and more electronics to fail and difficulties to repair.
Will have to check mine.
Sorry that this is occurring on such a regular basis.

Just checked my button on my 2019.
Look good so far and no crack.
Will have to take it easy on it when using it. Hope mine doesn’t crack.

It is in the same spot every time....either bad design or manufacturing flaw...or both. Super common it seems.

Doesn't matter how much you baby it - when I saw this happening two years ago, I started being especially careful, yet here I am. Sorry yall are in the same boat.
