Here's a quick video showing how to install the Husky Liner rear wheel liners on a Gen 3 Raptor. The instructions aren't the clearest so hopefully this helps you all tackle your install!
Kind of BS these trucks don't come with these from the factory considering how much we pay for our trucks...
Purchased from the eBay seller jogon2013
There’s a direct link to their store in my video description. They’ve got a bunch of parts. They ship from china, took 1.5 weeks to show up in Illinois.
I’m definitely picking up the console trim pieces, still on the fence about the cup holder trim.
For now yes, I know there’s are two current solutions to relocate, not sure if they would work since I have an odd number of lights and my ss5’s sit a bit higher.
Finished up my front end lighting project. Running Diode Dynamics SS3 max pods for ditch lights and SS5 pods for my front grill lights.
Overall love the output. May end up ditching the SS3 since the ss5’s overpower them by a lot.
Thanks so much for reaching out Sidney, the dual SSC2 edged out the triple pods by a very slim margin so that'll most likley be the route I go at some point here.
Thanks again for all the info you shared!
This is a great write up and helpful as I am in the process of figuring out what I want to do with my fogs. The "Rigids" suck. Do I go 3 pods or 2 half pods to retain the somewhat OEM look. Ran 2 Diode Dynamics SSC2 pods on my Ram with amber backlighting and really liked the output.
Thanks!
I just added a relay box to Gen 3. The box mounts to my fuse box and is fed by the 5 aux trigger wires (I have the stupid rigid fog package).
I filmed a detailed video of how I built out the relay box for my channel here: Gen 3 Raptor relay box upfit
There’s wiring diagrams and helpful links...
Alright this is a multiple part series I have been filming for my channel. The series is focused on how to install aux lights on my Gen 3 Raptor using a relay box controlled by factory switches. I wanted the install to be as clean as possible and offer future flexibility if I change my...
Installed the Truck Trolley in my Rapter a few weekends back. Easiest way to describe it, is the trolley is a cheaper more "residential" or "weekend warrior" version of the large cargo slides. No ********/drilling, just straps holding the track in place allowing it to slide in and out of the bed.
1. Correct, open or closed.
2. Side rails extend 2.5” from the bedside edge. 57.5” between the rails, no idea how wide your atv is but that’s what you have to fit between.
So far it’s an awesome cover. Install was easy peasy. Going add some pods to the front of the t slots as chase lights soon. I show this near the end of my video.
Bak just released this cover so right place right time for me as I had the retrax in my cart.
1. No rattle that I can hear with my rear window open. I had soft tonneau that slapped a bit at higher speeds. There’s an aluminum claw that grabs the sides and holds them in place so I suspect that...
Obligatory, did not happen today but a few days ago. Installed the Bak Revovler X4ts on my Raptor just in time for a hockey tournament this rainy weekend.
Going to be adding chase lights and a rack to the t-slots in the near future.
Quick walkthrough of how to install the new X4ts tonneau cover. This is the same cover as the X4s but the “ts” has integrated t-slots for running a rack/chase lights and any other accessories your heart desires.
1. Did you combine your trigger wires from the factory aux bundle as well as the positive output for your aux lights into that single 12 pin DT connector?
2. Are you grounding your lights closer to where they are mounted?
I've always been a huge fan of the accent vinyl around the Raptor's headlights on Gen 2 so decided to install the Rocky Mountain kit on my Gen 3. The kit uses 3M 2080 film. I went with matte dark gray which is a very close match to the gray on the bumper but thinking I may update to a dark...
In this video I show how to install a Boomba Racing BOV spacer which enables the BOV to vent to atmosphere giving you an audible “whooooosh” when the BOV open.
There is no performance benefit, just a fun project that can be done for about $100.
