I've always been a huge fan of the accent vinyl around the Raptor's headlights on Gen 2 so decided to install the Rocky Mountain kit on my Gen 3. The kit uses 3M 2080 film. I went with matte dark gray which is a very close match to the gray on the bumper but thinking I may update to a dark color (matte black or matte metallic black) since the gray tends to blend in with my azure blue paint a bit more than I wanted. I also messed up the passenger side during install so I need to pick up a new kit anyways.
For me...laying vinyl's is kind of therapeutic so long as you take your time, use a ton of application fluid, and be careful with the heat.
