    New to this

I came from/still have BMW's. My advice to you, and I had to do it before I got my Raptor and was doing research...lower your quality expectations. This is not a BMW. QA isn't the same level. My truck has panel gaps that arent perfect, some things dont line up exactly like they should, quality...

    2018 Blowing Blue Smoke

Not sure about the blue smoke but there is a common issue with white smoke after idling on the ecoboost engines. You can do a google search about it. Pretty sure my truck does this too but hasn't happened that many times.

    I hate birds

I know how you feel. Where I park my truck outside my house for some reason it always gets pooped on. Winter was a nice break but now almost everyday I come out and 2-3 new spots. Its annoying since poop is bad for your paint so I have to hose it off frequently. I feel like I can only keep it...

GEN 2 Calling all Rallyarmor Mud Flap users

I have RokBlokz too and am very happy with them. I have black with the black logo. I don’t like products with big visible logos on my vehicles.

    Horrible suspension

When you switch modes on paved road do you notice a difference is how stiff the suspension is? Ie from normal to sport should be stiffer. That would probably tell you if your shocks are adjusting like they should. Could be normal. I know when I drive on potholed gravel roads it shakes like crazy.

    GEN 2 4Auto

I run 2H when its dry and 4A when its wet. I used to run 4A all the time but it automatically switches to 2H when switching to sport mode and I got tired of changing it back to 4A. If it wasn't for that I would be in 4A all the time.

Questions for aluminum-slatted roll-up bed cover owners (Truxedo Sentry/BAK Revolver)

I have the Truxedo Sentry CT. Do they make noise with all the interlinking metal parts, either in closed or rolled up position? On-road or off? I can't stand rattles and will just go with a soft cover if that's an issue. Gen2s are too dang quiet. I have not noticed any noise rolled up or in...

    Truck Bed Covers

I run a Truxedo Sentry CT. Hard rolling cover like the bakflip revolver ones. I like it because it rolls up and is easy to remove completely but is a hard cover that locks. Also, rolled up you can access basically the full bed and you can still see out the back window...thats why I went with the...

    17 vs 19 Raptor

If it was me I’d get the ‘19. I was in a similar situation when I got my ‘19 new last year. Wanted to get a used one but the upgraded ACC and live shocks were the reason I got a ‘19. Most of the big issues have been sorted from ‘17 to ‘19 which is nice. Also, you will have a longer warranty...

Question about oil consumption test on a 2019.

All of the turbo cars Ive owned consumed a lot of oil. My X5 50i (V8TT) consumes 2 qts every 2500-3000 miles...which is within the range of normal. Since my last oil change on my raptor (Actually my 1st oil change ever) ive had to add 1 quart in 3500 miles. Yours sounds normal to me.

GEN 2 Bed Accessories that work with Ford loading Ramps

Nice set-up. I have same cover and like it a lot. Really low profile but I like that its a hard cover and gets mostly out of the way. I have no problem throwing my mountain bike it, closing the cover and not worrying about it getting stolen. I also have the ramps but have yet to utilize them...

    Headlights Fogged

This has happened to me in the last month or so a few times...and I was going to post up on here about it. I am going to ask next time it goes into the dealer but it always seems to go away. For me it comes when its raining pretty hard for extended periods. I park outside.

    2018 Perimeter Plus Module JS7Z-19A361-A

Very easy install. Plug in, zip tie up and walk away. The only thing you may have to adjust is the sensitivity with the dial on the module. The new one I got, that is for '19's, I have set at about 50%. The module has a shock sensor in it so if it detects an impact. Like slapping your A-pillar...

    Everyday use backup light

I just put in the S1 kit too and only have it wired to the back up lights right now. Havent gotten a chance to wire it to the switch. Really happy with the output. Makes a huge difference. I went with the S1's over the S2's because they are brighter. I pointed mine down a little so they dont...
