I just put in the S1 kit too and only have it wired to the back up lights right now. Havent gotten a chance to wire it to the switch. Really happy with the output. Makes a huge difference. I went with the S1's over the S2's because they are brighter. I pointed mine down a little so they dont blast people when parking. Definitely a needed/required modification for these trucks.

Exactly I did the switch too in case someone cuts me off I can cut them back off and then blast them from in front. That’s why everyone else got these too right?

While we love the various Baja Designs kits, if you’re worried about going overboard we also offer a Rigid backup kit. Very small and compact lights but they still offer great light without the worry of blinding everyone in the vicinity.

I like those, I think I'll wire these to my reverse lights and keep the S1 on the uplifted only for additional light when needed.

After I install the S1 reverse lights, I'll see if I can't make them work how I'd prefer, if not, I'll order the rigids.

I have the Baja Design S2 mounted to the rear. I had the exact same concern as you, so I only wired them to my AUX6 switch. I turn them on only when I need them.
I have the same setup, and just added the upfitter hookup.:)
OP, The BD reverse kit is bright, well made and is worth the price, imho.

I just finished installing Rigid flush mount diffused d2 pro midnight diffused tonight. I wired them to my number 6 upfitter switch so I can use them as needed. It was a pain to mount and wire them as I wanted, but I’m happy with the result.13B72B2F-B7F7-4823-A034-C5CB484D8395.jpeg9B569BE9-7CCE-4EAA-8384-C4253E5DC851.jpeg 9B569BE9-7CCE-4EAA-8384-C4253E5DC851.jpeg

You could always do the S1 Flush Mounts with our Harness to make installation easy (with the exception of cutting them into your bumper). But for the easiest method, go with the S2 Reverse Kit. It's really easy to install and with our optional upfitter connection harness (which is an all in 1 harness actually) it gives you lots of options

Love my S1s. I spoke with a neighbor on Saturday who informed me that he knows it's time to head to work in the morning when my lights shine in through his front porch window.
