What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

I thought the Bronco has a slightly different bolt pattern than the F150/Raptor…. We’re 6x135mm; thought the Bronco was 6x5.5” Would love to be wrong on this one!

Full Race's "Gen 2.5" Raptor build

Depends… How badly do you want it to “fit” in that space? ;)

GEN 2 Any Difference between stock oem shocks for SCAB and SCREW?

Just redid my suspension on my 2018 SCAB at just over 100K miles and absolutely shocked at how much better the truck drives and rides now. You’re gonna love the change! - Stock shocks rebuilt by TSW + TSW top hats - Deaver +3 HD springs with RPG extended shackles to offset the extra inch of...

    5-link-rear-suspension-conversion-for-gen-2-raptors anyone has done this?

For me it’s availability of the SCAB cabin… I’m stuck with my Gen2 until/unless Ford decides to do a SCAB Raptor again. Yes, I know I could buy a regular F150 and chop off the back end, especially if doing a lot of mods plus body panels, but it’s still not quite the same thing.

A Big Thank You to Baja Designs

Went and checked… And realized all mine are Sq Pro, and Racer series; plus a set of XL80s. Guess I’m outta luck! :p Still love these lights though… Maybe @Baja Designs will consider a reprise of this offer when it’s time for a revamp on those models too! :deal:

Thanks for posting! I wasn’t tracking on this offer…

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Yeah, the geometry is critical… He only does those in house now, after a couple fabricators screwed up the install and blamed his kit. It may just be the new springs and shackles, but I’m pretty sure he also corrected something that was off in the stock rear suspension while they were in...

Gen 2 High Mileage - Transmission

As I continue my research, I think I figured out their HP ratings… I think they just use Suncoast’s ratings, since the T1 transmissions are largely based on Suncoast’s rebuild kits, with some other custom work done to the internals.

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Meant to post yesterday… got the power tank charged up with nitrogen for my new add-on shocks for towing: They were only able to get it up to 2300psi at the welding supply place here in town; should be gtg for several charges on the Fox shocks though. And yes, one is slightly compressed…I...

GEN 2 My Turn for Pinion Bearing?

Only question I have is: Are those your fingernails? ;)

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

I have some with pretty thick base plates, and no problem: …there’s a lot of thread on these bolts; probably gtg up to ~ 1/2” thick plate.

Any advice before I take the truck to someone?

Mine were actually behind the big bundle of wires going into the firewall there… Where those two big connecters plug in on the passenger-side firewall:

Any advice before I take the truck to someone?

Could also be the connection under the hood, or wherever you tied into the upfitter lead.

GEN 2 Well today I did a thing

Gutsy move Maverick! Actually looks pretty cool… And I like the frugal approach!

    Rough shift 3-4

Tagged for interest… I think we’re finally seeing the Gen2 trucks accumulating enough miles to confirm the C-D-F clutch housing flaw. Hope you get yours under warranty…. Mine got the valve body replacement under warranty, and the next step would be a rebuilt trans with the new clutch housing...

Gen 2 High Mileage - Transmission

Also @here Any thoughts from the hive mind re: the Sun Coast billet torque converter vs. the Circle-D Specialties version that also has a billet stator section? Anyone here have actual first-hand experience with either? Other better choices? ATS uses the Circle-D version, so if I wind up...

Gen 2 High Mileage - Transmission

The more I learn, the more I think Tier One may be the better deal of the companies I’ve checked out so far…expensive, but you're getting a lot of upgrades for what they're charging. I have no social media, and not gonna get an Insta-Face account just to be able to communicate with Richardson...

    2018 New motor recommendations

Tagged for what’s soon to be a new motor for me… Need new cam phasers (4th time), but at 112K miles it doesn’t make sense to just do the front end. One of those “since I’m in there” type situations. Will probably do the actual R&R myself, but not really capable (or interested) in building the...

    Rough shift 3-4

Where’d you have the work done? Ford dealer or independent shop? After spending almost an hour talking to the dealership, and Ford CS, I think I’m ****** for my repairs; I was very politely, and with what I felt was sincere regret on the part of the CS folks I talked to today and last week...

    Rough shift 3-4

Same, except it now slips going into second (revs, but no forward motion), and then when it goes into third it feels like I’ve been rear-ended by another car. Somewhat better when warm, but still pretty friggin’ bad. I’m pretty much screwed though since at 112K miles, my truck’s 12K miles out...

Icon Lvl kit 1.5" vs. RPG 1.5"

Rubber bushings in the stock top hats deteriorate…rather quickly if you’re putting a lot of load into them with fast off road driving. Mine were completely shot at the 100K mark; surprised they didn’t fall apart based on how they looked when they came out.

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

That’s the one I got from Apollo for my Raptor, as well as my son’s regular F150…nice bit of kit

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

J/k…. Nice car, and best of luck. If it wasn’t for GM ******** their bond holders, I’d be driving one of those too. Never again though…

    Its not looking good boys...

@Donovan it may have been answered (maybe in another thread?), but I didn’t see where a cause was attributed for the crank failure. Was it simply a defective crank, or possibly the harmonic balancer? Thanks in advance for any info…
