GEN 2 Interior Auxiliary Wiring Harness Location on a 19?

Thank you gentlemen. The pass-thru wires are what I'm looking for. I will have time tomorrow to look and I'll have a better chance of finding them than before. I've had the trim pieces off twice without any luck but this gives me a better idea where to look. I'll check back once I've found them.

GEN 2 Interior Auxiliary Wiring Harness Location on a 19?

I'm looking for the auxiliary wiring harness in the passenger foot well fuse location on a 2019 Raptor. I've googled it and searched the forums but haven't had any luck finding it so far. The wire locations appear to be in different places depending on the model year and possibly changes more...

Gen 2 Upfitter Switch Tailgate Release Kit

I'd really like to have this mod but so far I haven't been able to find the auxiliary wires in the passenger foot well. I've looked several times with no luck - it's well hidden. Anyone with a 2019 Raptor able to say where you found the wires? I'm hesitant to place my order until I know I can...

Wheel Finish Issue. What would you do?

I think the vendors offer is fair. One lesson learned is to keep packaging on big ticket items until you are certain it's not needed anymore. Best of luck with it.

    Engine/Transmission T/F ?

The C8 Corvette uses a dual clutch transmission designed for the C8 and is not used in any other car or truck. Also, I don't believe you can buy a Mustang GT with a V6 - V8 only!

Question about oil consumption test on a 2019.

All IC engines use oil over time when operational. A half a quart used in two thousand miles is common. If you have a catch can, you'll see some of it accumulate in the can. The color of oil is not an indication of quality. Oil breaks down over time with use and becomes acidic. Darker oil is...

Not the most elegant solution. And yes, it's been discussed many times before.

    GEN 2 Leaking shock? (Photos)

There is no way to know from a photo. What does the substance feel like? Any odor to it? Feel around above the shock for a similar substance.

    Headlights Fogged

From the Owner's Manual: Condensation in the Exterior Front Lamps and Rear Lamps Exterior front lamps and rear lamps have vents to accommodate normal changes in air pressure. Condensation can be a natural by-product of this design. When moist air enters the lamp assembly through the vents...

GEN 2 No auto adjustment for headlights?

Hard to believe 250 lbs in the bed would cause that much sag in the rear. I'll have to experiment with that once the weather is warmer.

Oem BL wheel owners-remove beauty rings for new tires?

For those that have removed the rings, how tight are the bolts holding them on and did you use LocTite or anti-sieze when reinstalling the bolts. I'm going to have a tire pressure sensor installed in the spare so I can include it in the rotation of the tires and I hadn't thought about removing...

    Missing Grommet?

The doors have other drain holes but they're small and easily plugged by debris. Some might even come from the factory clogged with sealant applied then the door is assembled. Either way, they are not needed and you're probably better off without them.

    Missing Grommet?

They stopped using them on the 19 and up models. I think it's part of the fix for frozen doors that you read so much about on the F-150 forums.

Happy New Year ya filthy Raptor!

It is a little tight in there! I'd like to see the person getting into that when it's driven out. Maybe you could provide a short video?

    GEN 2 Cracked Windshield

Any competent glass shop should be able to install a windshield. I'm not sure why a dealership would be preferred over a shop that specializes in automotive glass.

    GEN 2 Help!

If it needs programmed, a shop will probably have to do it. The tool needed is more expensive than an average user will want to pay for limited use. The item you showed is really just to get the truck to recognize the sensor, it doesn't actually program anything.

    Finally bought it today!

    Feels good doesn't it?

    GEN 2 Help!

Universal sensors need to be programmed before installation in the tire to work. A regular tire shop would have known that and done the programming before the tire was mounted. Don't know who mounted the tire for you but you may have to take it to a tire dealer to have the work done.

    Broken Lug Nut...Damn it!

With that much torque on the bolt, I imagine that the studs have been stretched and should all be replaced for peace of mind. Once stretched, a bolt loses a great deal of strength and will break easily. Broken wheel studs can lead to damaged wheels and even the complete loss of a wheel while...

    2019 DEPRECIATION

I buy a vehicle with the plan to keep it long term, ten years or more. I won't much care about depreciation after many miles and years of use. So, I guess it depends on what your goal is. Bottom line though is that cars aren't good investments and never have been.

    GEN 2 Tailgate weatherstrip Kit

With my Truxedo Lo Pro cover, I close the tailgate and then snap the cover down into place. The cover has a rubber seal that overlaps the top of the tailgate and seals water out pretty well. The main purpose of the weatherstrip kit is to seal out dust that permeates everywhere inside the bed...

    Gen 2 Gas Mileage

There is a hidden feature on F-150's called "Engineering Test Mode." You can change certain features within this mode and the fuel mileage calculation is one of them. The link below has good info on how to make the change. Post #60 is a good starting point. It does take some trial and error to...
