The in dash MPG gauge in mine is saying 18 avg mix of city and highway. I bought mine used with 26K miles on it though. So, I am sure its pretty loosened up now.

14.57mpg on today’s fill up. Dash said 16.4mpg. My dash has always been off. I have every fill up recorded. I have almost 17K mi on my 19 and the best tank was 16.7mpg, cruise set at 82mph, bed full of beach crap ,and 4 people in the truck.

So I have a new 2019 SCREW with 2600 miles on it now. I am curious what kind of mileage everyone is getting, would appreciate your comments.

With 93 Octane, in Sport Mode, Long Highway runs recently, I am only getting 15.5 ish. Yes its cold and in the 20s and 30s here in NJ right now, so that doesn't help. I certainly didn't buy a Raptor for gas mileage, but just curious what everyone else is experiencing.

Cheers

Yup, winter blend gas in NJ, same here, 18/19 with the summer blend if you drive it like grandma.

Mine says around 16. My Caddy was doing 11 and change for the same usage. That’ll do 16 mixed driving and 23 gas pump to gas pump on the highway. I’d expect the truck to do north of 20 with longer drives.

Did you know you can adjust the truck algorithm that calculates fuel mileage and get it very close to spot-on?

thanks for all the comments and feedback, appreciate it. Seems like my mileage is in reasonable range, haven't calculated yet myself so also don't know how accurate the on board computer is.

Is this a Forscan thing or can you do it from the dash?

There is a hidden feature on F-150's called "Engineering Test Mode." You can change certain features within this mode and the fuel mileage calculation is one of them. The link below has good info on how to make the change. Post #60 is a good starting point. It does take some trial and error to get the truck into test mode unless your lucky the first time you try. I was not but I figured it out. ForScan isn't needed, the tool built into the truck. I've only changed my fuel calculation but you can google "Engineering Test Mode" and get much more info if you want to delve into it.

This link will show you how to calculate the number to enter to achieve more accurate MPG numbers.
