I don’t need new tires yet but was wondering for those that have already replaced theirs and have the Ford beadlock wheels, do you remove the beauty rings first before dropping the truck off for tires? I can see some $10/hr tire jockey scraping these up if they were left on. Maybe the dealer would be the best option for tire installation or maybe I’m overthinking this?

It's a mixture of this and older tire machines. We have a touchless machine and we leave them on. Any bigger tire chain should have nicer machines that can take care of the job without scratching.

My local bigger tire chain took them off; they said there tire machine could not handle the BL. I was pissed.

Discount Tire took them off to change tires. Unfortunately, they mentioned after calling 6hr later that they couldn't get some of the screws out of the beauty ring and stripped them. Turns out, they didn't have a Torx that size and were using hex-heads.

They would not replace them either. I'm sure I could have pushed it, but it wasn't worth my time at that point.

If you have a local Offroad Shop they usually have a skilled technician or the correct machine (or both) to do it without removing the beauty ring.

For those that have removed the rings, how tight are the bolts holding them on and did you use LocTite or anti-sieze when reinstalling the bolts. I'm going to have a tire pressure sensor installed in the spare so I can include it in the rotation of the tires and I hadn't thought about removing the bead locks.

I use a 1/4 inch socket wrench with appropriate socket to loosen then with my battery screw driver and appropriate socket remove
Reinstall with a little antiseize to aid in future removal

Yup, I removed my rings, had the new tires put on, and then reinstalled with a bit of never seize, and torqued to spec.
