Dang, that's a decent size generator. What's that going to weigh? 1000-1500 pounds? Plus a fuel tank... That's Taking squatting to a new level. You're going to need SDHQ air bag kit or something.
I didn't trim my tubes either as in my mind it didn't make sense to being that it is recessed like JimT said. I could be wrong?? I just watched the frame cut video and shotgun'd the rest of the install. But it does appear the frame and bumper mount would crush inward as you tighten the bolt. It...
Yep, someone must have installed the bolt backwards and the Firestone tech had a brain fart when he showed you it didn't work. Someone flipped it and installed a kit. The kits are the same front to rear.
Yeah the shake can be pretty violent. Over the years I've gotten pretty good at figuring how to manage the brake pedal over the rough stuff without getting into a bad shake. I still get emergency stop situations where it happens though. If I have my thumbs even remotely wrapped around the wheel...
Looks good. One thing I missed on mine that you might check on yours is on my rear bumper I adjusted it a little too high and my tailgate rubbed on the top tube when I put it down, scratching the tailgate paint.
What are your caster measurements?
Has anyone pulled the front rotors and cleaned the mating surfaces between the hub flange, rotor hat, and wheel face?
If all checks out put a dial indicator on the hub flange, spin the hub by hand and look for excessive run out.
How does the power steering...
Cost and although it could benefit from a 4v with 411hp and 434tq is it really missing them? With the large bore you get away with running two large valves without shrouding issues.
Who knows what he did or why the machine is giving him false info. All I know is the uppers are not suppose to move in any way shape or form as far as adjustment is concerned. You might suggest the Lca is where adjustments are made before he gets all western and tries to install kits on the UCA.
Yeah, the UCA do not move on this gen of f150. They did move in the past for adjustment so maybe that's why he's trying but really he should know better.
UCA?? Lol. The uppers aren't supposed to move. Adjustments made on the lower control arm only for caster/camber (unless you have icon UCA which I know you don't but wanted to add that before some smart ass tried to correct me).
Yes,
