Spent half the day at the Ford dealer waiting to get an alignment only to have them tell me it needs a caster/camber kit.:snoopfacepalm:

They want $85 for the kit and it will be here tomorrow.

The tech said he couldn't move the wheel to adjust caster.

Any you guys with the Stage 4 run into this?

Not yet. How many turns are you on your front coilovers? I'm seven turns (about mid perch) but will be going as high as possible soon.

That's BS. A good alignment person can align anything on the right machine. I can't imagine a dealer having a crappy alignment machine.
I think they just wanted to get an extra $buck from ya.
Sounds like he's just being lazy.

They can move the camber and caster without the kit but you're better off with the kit. Just spend the money cheap ass.

Haha.

I watched the dude loosen one side of the UCA and tug on the top of the tire to adjust the caster but he couldn't get it to move. I'm not completely sure he knew what he was doing.

UCA?? Lol. The uppers aren't supposed to move. Adjustments made on the lower control arm only for caster/camber (unless you have icon UCA which I know you don't but wanted to add that before some smart ass tried to correct me).

Rich, they said mine couldn't be aligned and I said BS! I want a second opinion. Then a senior Mechanic pulled the guy aside. It aligned up quite easily after the steering wheel was secured and could no longer move.

That being said the camber cam kit is $42 on Amazon and does help when flying over Ed's Texana Ranch roads!
