Holy shit. My Ford dealer has some seriously incompetent morons. Took it back last week because the alignment still wasn't right. Was checking things over this morning and this is what I saw.

Besides the boot not being on and full of dirt, can you tell me what is wrong with this picture?

I hope to God my steering box isn't ****** up cause I'm gonna go ******* on those dumb *************. And I've been over some rough terrain since they did this.

If one jam nut is tight you should be ok, but yea that is some bs.

Look at the clevis. It has to be aligned vertically (which is the way I installed it) to be able to pivot up and down with the wheel. These ********* probably didn't use 2 wrenches to loosen the jam nuts and turned the whole assembly.:rage:

Damn! Yeah that's no good. Is the rack leaking oil?

Not that I can see.

Might be ok. If the rack end flexed up or down a bunch the seal usually goes first and leaks.

Ive found most shops are too lazy to undo the boot and actually adjust the rpg tire rods correctly.

I have resorted to taking the boot off before i get there then they actually see it. Otherwise they just try to torque the @#$#@$ out of the one end to adjust it.
