The stock FMIC isn't very good. The COBB unit is a significant improvement. Here are some more details: https://www.cobbtuning.com/f-150-raptor-front-mount-intercooler-testing/

The Ford F-150 Raptor was an exciting platform when it first debuted for the 2017 model year. Since then, COBB has come a long way in the research and development process. Initial support started with a tune using the Accessport. This introduced custom features such as Dynamic Pedal Control...
Right. You would have to flash a map in order to use the features.
When the Accessport is properly uninstalled using the "Uninstall" option from the main menu, the ECU is reverted exactly back to stock. In our experience, the dealership is not able to tell if the ECU has been flashed. However...
There are different "ROM versions" from one truck to another even throughout the same model year and options. Occasionally, the dealer will update your ECU with a new ROM. Since that updated version operates slightly differently than before, support has to be added so the Accessport works...
Nothing at the moment but an AOS is something we may offer in the future.
The dynamic pedal control feature is a multiplier that will increase or decrease pedal responsiveness based on the setting. The setting will stay the same on the AP even if you change drive modes. However, since each...
The truck will run with the same tune but to get the gains the FMIC offers, you'll need to tune for it.
I haven't measured any other cores so I'm not sure. It's about the most core you can fit though!

There is a specific map to every model year, fuel, ECU ROM version, etc. I only asked so we could take a look at that specific map to see if there was something that would prevent ASS from working. Everything looked as it should though. The system is related to several parameters (time...
Hi Shaggy,
The Accessport is a device that physically flashes your truck's ECU. Once this is done, the tune will stay on the truck until you reflash it back to stock (it does not have to stay plugged in). To revert it back to stock, you would need to select the uninstall option from the main...
That is correct. We are still going to release downpipes just because people still want them. The Stage 2 maps will require the FMIC. DPs will be optional.
If additional power is your only concern, I wouldn't recommend buying downpipes. They do look good, add some turbo noise, and a bit...
The only issue is it won't perform as well with less dense air that comes with higher elevations. It's perfectly capable of going from sea level and to whatever point you can reach or any elevation changes in between. The intake will not add any power gains at the Stage 1 level.

The 2017+ Second Generation Ford Raptor features a twin-turbocharged Ecoboost V-6. This forced induction powerplant falls right into the COBB Tuning wheelhouse, so right off the bat we were excited to see what could be accomplished. This is a very capable platform in a stock configuration, but...
HERE is our email list that will keep you informed of new product releases. I don't have any details on pricing just yet. There will not be a TCM tune initially but that functionality is in the works.
We haven't tested that so I can't say for sure. Different DPs (catless for instance) could...
The stock turbos aren't that big. The stock DPs flow pretty well. With that, DPs aren't big gain makers. As of now, there will not be a Stage 3 map. There will be a Stage 2 map that will require the FMIC. You should be able to run it with or without DPs. All of this is still in testing so...
We're shooting to have DPs and the FMIC out in February. It doesn't look like the downpipes result in any power gains so we're not actually going to have a "Stage 3" package or map. They will be optional if you want to add them. They look good, give you a little more room for working, and...
Additional OTS maps will be available prior to TCM tuning being available.
Glad you're liking the goods! It sounds like the AP is losing connection. This will show the gears turning screen when it attempts to reconnect. This can happen if you have the auto start/stop feature enabled (and...
We're working on getting the parts sourced for the one in the video in the first post. It bolts on to the "oh shit" handle. Really solid. Best location IMO. We wanted to offer some windshield mounts but then learned they are illegal in many states. Arkon has a ton of solutions at very...
The grille will require some trimming on the back side. The grille shutters will need to be removed.
We'll have more close up shots when the FMIC is released!
Kyle@COBB
Sorry about that. We only have vehicles listed that are supported. If you select another model year, you'll still get the relevant updates.
It will be all one piece!
The pipes are separate from the intake. There likely aren't any gains to be had by replacing the stock pipes (unless...
If the truck is having misfire issues in boost then it'd be a good idea to run a plug with a tighter gap. We haven't seen anything during Stage 3 map development that would require or benefit from a tighter gapped plug. It probably won't hurt anything but I don't think there's too much to gain...
