Nothing from her yet.

My local ford dealership is closed on weekends. Service and parts. So I have to wait until I'm at work. Which we all know is tough to get out and spend any time with the parts guys or service manager until they are at the end of their workday as well and tired.

Words of wisdom from a man who has experience with having his engine swapped by a dealer. RUN FROM THAT DEALER! The fact that they told you to leave it already tells me they shouldn't even look at your truck, let alone touch it. Start documenting everything. THOROUGHLY. With pictures and in chronological order. Include any and all correspondence. Record all voice conversations. You need to find a reputable dealer and look at their reviews, specifically on the service department. I want to think there's good dealers out there but nothing will ever bring my opinion back on that.

Good luck to you.

Can I even pick and choose dealerships to work on it? If i call roadside assistance to come getitwouldntthey just take it to the nearest one. It's hard to know if a dealership is good or bad as far as the actual techs go. I do know the tech who originally cross threaded my drain bolt is not working there anymore. Don't Ford dealerships that sell Raptors have SVT certified techs? I really need Crystals help.

Ford needs to give you a rental, no questions asked.

I agree, but boy oh boy, all I want is my truck fixed. I can see a urination contest when they drop the pan, after they pulled the whole front of the truck apart, and zip that bolt back into the cap, and say ok problem fixed!

I'm not trying to stress you out anymore than you already are, and I'm no qualified engine builder, but I don't think it is as simple as just putting the bolt back in the main caps, I believe the bearing needs to be checked. While your pacing back and worth biting your nails, maybe ask a few engine shops for their opinion. When this is all over and your Raptor is back to normal, you'll be glad you did as much research as possible, it will make the outcome all that much better. Good luck :)
