Drive is going well John. Besides Yukon locking up the credit card because he hasn't memorized the new zip. Called them and straightened it out. We're in Knoxville tonight, will be at our new place tomorrow.

The Fort Fisher Ferry is plenty big, they usually park vehicles three wide on it. I WAS going to be staying with my mom on Oak Island, but that is now up in the air because my step dad was in the hospital this week with cardiac arrhythmia. They haven't decided yet whether they will put a stint in or schedule him for bypass surgery. So it looks like we will probably be staying in a hotel somewhere. BUT, I am SO ready for the trip. I can't WAIT for a vacation...lol

I've never seen them park anyone on Fort Fisher. Btw here's the beach permit for those that want to fill out ahead of time. http://www.ncparks.gov/Visit/parks/fofi/docs/4x4_prmt.pdf

But we are staying at the Comfort Inn on Oak Island if you want to stay there. There might even end up being a Friday night Pre meet up as well.

We finally made or and we are still unpacking. My brother and mother were a huge help. Unfortunately the place we rented was unclean and the carpets need replaced, and the landlord doesn't want to replace the pet stained nasty ass carpet, so we are dealing with that.

Friday night meet would be great, how about an icecream place?

Do we have to make reservations for the fairy?
