I just can't wait to get SOMETHING wired into my aux switches. I am gonna permanently mount the radio wired to the aux with an external speaker once I figure out where I want that mounted. I am actually thinking about modding the mic mount so that the plug receptacle is mounted and accessible from the outside of the center console with the radio mounted inside. I want to also mount a regular cb in the truck so I am probably going to have them both tucked away in the center console the same way. I WOULD like to find an antenna similar this one for the regular cb. The mag mount I have for the cb now is a Wilson 1000 and I use to run it on top of the cab of the other trucks, but I don't want it sticking up that far on this truck.

We'll just roll to another station, that's the nice thing about having both the TRR and Sno channels. You can run the same station as your buddies without picking up all the chatter.

Hello all,

There seemed to be a bit of confusion today about where the meet is going to take place. I think the original post has fort fisher. I vote for keeping it at this place. There is plenty of space and never really to busy. I have heard that freeman park gets a bit crowded on the weekends. As for picking the day passes up early, it is my understanding that they are issued that day and the process is quick if ya stop at the ranger station right at the entrance. I think it is only $15 for the day. Me and the wife will be staying at the comfort inn in southport. Out plan is just to take the ferry over to fort fisher in the morning. I know there are a few staying at oak island, so I figured this may be a central spot. Where are others staying? Any one want to meetup on Friday night?

What time are you taking the ferry, how big/how much is it ? It would be cool to get pictures of a few raptors on the ferry at once.. We'd be down with meeting Friday night as well.

Things are crazy for us right now. We took a quick trip to pittsburgh to see family/friends and get our box trailer. On our way back to Omaha now, load up then head down, everyone driving. Will both be limited on frf the next few days

From what I remember the ferry was a good size we could easily fit quite a few raptors on it. I know that they run two ferries depending on the time of day. The cost is $5 each way but it saves quite a bit of drive to take it. Below is the link and schedule. My wife (witchywoman) would be flexible on time. I agree some pics of the trucks on the ferry would be quite cool.

Hopefully your drive and all goes well. We look forward to meeting y'all.

Drive is going well John. Besides Yukon locking up the credit card because he hasn't memorized the new zip. Called them and straightened it out. We're in Knoxville tonight, will be at our new place tomorrow.
