I'm a White 37 801A PT MR BL. Stock dealer order in June, I put deposit in Oct, started Prod Oct 18 and no updates since. latest delivery date as of yesterday from dealer, who was suppose to talk to zone rep, is 02/14. Ford Order page is updated with date as well. Suggested I call back in a couple weeks.

I have no concerns about 21 vs 22 or resale or rust/snow/rain/bird sh*t. My vehicles are not garage queens. A loaded 37 will hold it's value well since it is a vehicle that nobody needs but people want so it is an emotional purchase.

I am just anxious to get it .. been 14 years since I bought a new truck.

I really hope with all the snow they are getting up there these trucks are at least covered with plastic tarp or something. If they were driven on salted roads without the under carriage being washed right after I’ll be a little upset. If mine comes and there’s rust underneath that’s when I’ll be pissed. Otherwise I don’t mind the wait. Just gives me more time to save more cash to pay off the principle and since I’ve been driving my girlfriend’s sedan/turned off insurance I’ve saved around $1500 since late October when I sold my jeep. Thank god I’m working from home!
It's always better if you truck is built after spring for that reason. I bought a 16 lariat, took it home, looked underneath and the rust was so bad the Ford dealer took it back and cancelled my deal. Hopefully they don't build mine until summer. Most new 21's I've seen look nice and painted with little to no rust.

That's nothing, I have been on the list for a new Bosch dishwasher since April 2021 and they just bumped my delivery date to May 2022... for a Dishwasher! :dogpile:

I'd have to say I don't agree that the 21 and 22 are the same at all. If you had a choice on the lot between the same exact truck with the same exact mileage except one was a 21 and the other 22 I doubt many people would choose the 21. Even if both odometers read zero. Bringing into the factor that they may be a limited edition 37" package could maybe change that since you would be lucky to get one but again, if given the choice especially now knowing the issues with the first year trucks, I would go with the 22 for the same mileage and same price. Just my 2 cents.

Agree... but you don't have that choice today with a Raptor. I have seen some 21 F150s on the lot at my dealer, and they were asking MSRP or better before the 22's showed up... now, since they have 22's on the lot, the few 21's are discounted. It works itself out.

Point well taken but if you had an allocation from your dealer, I would assume that you could ask them to just switch over to a 22 and once the 21 came in the dealer could sell it for a high ADM which we are seeing. But you are right on the supply issue on the lots. It just really sucks for all of us. My 22 is scheduled for build in 2 weeks, and I was starting to get my hopes up and seeing his 21 not being delivered until March really destroyed my day. If his is march, mine must be like June now. lol

What are the mods going to do? Hand you a tissue while you wait for your truck? Are you a little over sensitive right now or what, bro, easy, nobody is banging your wife, that you know of.
It's just annoying that there is a multitude of threads with the same questions that have the same answers but, no one looks or organizes the information so you don't have all these duplicate threads. It's simple information management and I definitely was told that my wife was banging the mailman so, I was probably a bit happy that SOMEONE was at least getting some.
