I adjusted mine down lower just to avoid local county mounty ******. Still better than OEM and if not there is always the twin 40" lightbars.

Even if I'm at stock perch with stock tires, most people will still get blinded by stock HIDs

Sounds like you need to adjust your lights.

After installing the +3" national springs, my rear was higher than the front. I wanted to adjust My lights up, but since I wasn't getting flashed any more, I left them as is. The cut off is just under the rear view mirror of the car I follow.

No where did the OP state that he had non-DOT equipment. He also stated the lights were aimed/aligned correctly by the installer dealership. This thread has become one of those campfire story games that goes around and ends up being a completely different story by the time it gets all the way around.

This is the song that never ends.
It just goes on and on my friends.
Some people started singing it not knowing what it was,
And they'll continue singing it forever just because . . .

The OP admits in the first post that he has aftermarket lights from Raptor Retrofit. If the lights they sell aren't DOT approved, then yes, he admitted to having non-DOT equipment.

He states that they are not illegal.

Can one assume that.....

- it doesn't matter whether your lights are DOT approved or not, if you are blinding on-coming traffic you are going to get pulled over.

- the FORD HIDs are still DOT approved regardless of the color of the reflectors.

- the 2013/14 HID's are DOT approved regardless of what model year Raptor they are installed in
