Ill have to look into it. Im a manufacturing engineer, and an associate professor at Northern Illinois University.
There's the new Eagle Mine (Rio Tinto) set to start next year, and the Empire and Tilden Mine's which you guys drove right by. Couple mills like Verso Paper and CertainTeed. Then of course there's teaching at MTU.

Houghton has had another 25 inches of snow since MLK day.

I was looking into working at GS Engineering in Houghton over the summer. Had a couple good interviews, but the pay just wasn't there. Well the pay was good, but I have too many car payments to afford my wife not working. And I will admit she makes more than I do, so I guess I am stuck down here for a bit longer

We've looked into moving to Marquette on several ocassions. Problem is even though the cost of living is less I do think the pay is enough to make up the bills that I can't get rid off(Student Loans) mainly.

I would rather move to Tahoe or Jackson, WY though.

Anyone happen to ask the svt folks about the perch settings etc while you were there? I'm curious to know their thoughts on that subject.

Yes, and Jamal basically said he wish they never designed those allowances into the shock. So, apparently they think it should stay on low perch, even though we all know it bottoms out easily off road!
