ya I did a slide out on the pavement didn't cut out but I was not trying to do a donut ether. I just put new tires on darn it.

That is the best way I can describe it... It seems once the computer sees the front tire with no speed and the others spinning and the body roll it thinks it is rolling or something...

I've done full lock donuts in the snow. Be more aware of blowing you PS pump or allowing the PS reservoir to suck air. Mine's at the dealer right now getting a new PS pump.

the power gets gut to the wheels if i get more than 2/3 s the way through. the rpm's are still high, but i just lose momentum

I was able to do the same up there.. Yet in the mud, not so much.. Just do the wiz mods, bypass tcs, abs, and rsc and add hand brake...
