So if if I buy a radio, can someone buy it from me when this is over?

Or can I see if someone may have an EXTRA radio that I can use for this run...

I may only use this once so I'm not to excited about spending $150 for two days of use...

We may have an extra unless we end up selling it.

Narrow band compliant radios. All the ones I sell are. The old ones aren't illegal. Just can't be sold anymore.

Actually, the FCC is requiring narrow band operation as of yesterday for all licensed public safety and business radio operators. This spectrum is the 150-512 MHz range which is what our radios fall under.

We just spent $20,000 at my work upgrading our radio system for this reason! Our old radios weren't narrow band compliant...

If we want to get technical, nobody should be using these VHF radios without a license... But it's overlooked on the frequencies we usually operate on.

I might have an extra you could borrow. I bought the handheld then talked myself into the mounted one. Will have to see if I have time to get it mounted as my truck is still sitting in Chicago area teasing me.
