Damn we are finally getting snow, possible blizzard condition warning too and my Raptor has an eta of the 24th. I wanted to "practice" for this run. Random vent over now. Sorry, felt the need to share.

I've been in extreme heat and extreme cold.
I'll take the heat anytime. As long as you're hydrating, you're going to survive.
I've never been so hot that it actually hurts, uncomfortable yes, but I've certainly been that cold many times.

This run won't be bad for the southerners, the route you're taking isn't going to see really low temps, and they'll be in heated trucks !
Even if you've got to jump out, it takes a while to cool off after being in a warm truck. And you've got a warm truck to get back in.
