yeah those aren't the same ones but it gives me an idea. i may need some help with the wiring. thanks SPRSNK

Oh yea..I can tell you which wires to splice into.
1. use the parking light wire..not the turn signal wire.
2. Your positive wire is the green striped one which "should" be the outside wire. I couldn't get my volt meter to read and guessed. I have pics on my cell phone of which wire.
3. Take all the wires from the headlight unit, wire them together. Not being a fan of wire splices, I soldered mine together then heat shrinked them.
4. Peel back the plastic on the parking light harness and give yourself some room to work with. Cut the wires and strip them. Next tie them together loosely. Check your lights to see if they work correctly. If not, you've done something wrong. If they work, solder, heat shrink and you are done. Move onto the other light.

SPRSNK...sounds like your particular model was sorely lacking in ease of installation. Bummer.

The Recon version supposedly is mostly plug and play. It splits the stock single connector so it feeds the low and high beam independently. You only have to tap the fog/position light to illuminate the halos and LEDs. Was reading all about it in the Z forum while researching options. That guy initially was all happy...cause they looked the way he wanted. Then realized the low beams hardly lit the road and was ready (or maybe he did) take them off. He was looking to do a real HID conversion using those enclosures. "These headlights are almost dangerous any more and I'm getting to the point I may reinstall the factory and do a HID setup..."

I dont know man. Like, why do companies feel that they must go ******* overboard with cyborg look?

I know. My theory is they all get designed in rice consuming countries by designers who grew up with anime and Nintendo. Halos are for lowered trucks in my opinion...not the Raptor. [cue Will Smith's Miami] Can I get some ground effect glow while we're at it? NOT.

Give me a similar looking clean head lamp design, but with a real, legal HID projector bulb like other upper end vehicles and I'm in. Also some visible taillights (preferably LED) that also illuminate the side position. My guess is Ford will upgrade the lighting situation (perhaps as an option) in the near future. Hell, with the proper design, you could fit enough lighting components in the headlamp enclosure that half the aftermarket driving lights, fogs, etc. would be unnecessary.

I was looking at picking up these headlight assemblies as well. I think they'd look pretty good on a black raptor. But I was told by one of the sellers (it was a while back and I can't remember who now) that the projector lenses are plastic and not glass. So, obviously the quality isn't the greatest, but I might just say **** it and pull the trigger on them in the spring...
