Wiz, is that your original rear shaft?
Quite a few guys with 10's have blown their rear ends... and some have been covered under the powertrain warranty.

Yes it is original equipment... Ford did the upgrade in "12" because of the warranty issues across the whole F line with E'lockers. All though if you have a "10-11" with an extended warranty and brake the shafts you will still get the smaller axle. They will not up grade you...:boxed:

I thought the change was 2011? I also thought only the pinion bearing was different, interesting.

Awesome stuff Wiz. One day we'll catch up. Been busy. Starting to get crazy with all this crazy weather. Would love to see the crib one day. Keep up the good work.

Ok Wiz is back in the shop actually working on his own truck..
We have started playing with air flow on the front of the truck.
When we ran with GLRE at there Time Attack (great event) I started having high engine temp situations.
After evaluating the trucks cooling system we determined that the system is functioning normally so it's gotta be something I did....
Enter exhibit A.
The light.

This is the the start of my problems..
As you can see the air stream is getting pushed up and not coming back down when the truck is at speed....This is just the start of the testing....I'm going to look at whats going on with the rad fans off and on and also try to find out what the flow does at different speeds..I have an Anemometer on the way so we can measure the wind speed...
Stay tuned for the fun.. :)
