I would have cancelled my order by now if I had to deal with some schmuck at a dealership because I know he wouldn't be giving me the straight info like Randy.

Yes 1/16 can be a week-of build. And thats all it said on December 15th when I got my VIN#. But on December 26th that week-of changed to day-of, and it has been holding at week of 1/16, day of 1/16 ever since all the way up to TODAY....when Ford decided to reschedule me to week of 1/16, day of 1/19.

If it was set at that date at the start I'd be fine, but the fact they bumped me it upsets me. Not to mention, out of the SEVEN OT1's that Randy had pulled so far, Mine is the FIRST one ordered, yet the other SIX after mine, THREE were built today, and the other THREE are scheduled for the 17th and 18th :Grenade:

mine and pretty much everyone else ive seen, you get your build week when you get your VIN, and then its the week before is when they schedual your actual day. like with mine, i kept getting a build "day" of sept 19, up until i got my sticker, which then changed the build day to sept 22. same happened with Big Blue and there were a couple others. So when you get your build date with your VIN, remember thats the build week and will stay till its actually stickered and schedualed at the plant.

i know it sucks Reptar.... i went thru it too. But just trust me, all this worrying and stress your feeling along with anger, just melts away when you finally set eyes on your truck. remmeber... goosfraba......

I understand all of that, but you also do get scheduled to the DAY OF prior to getting your window sticker. Yes sometimes it changes, sometimes it stays the same, sometimes it jumps forward, but I'm not confusing my WEEK OF with the DAY OF.

On December 15th Randy sent me my VIN# that had WEEK OF 1/16. On December 26th he sent me an update with DAY OF 1/16. On January 9th he sent me another update that had me moved to DAY OF 1/19. Still no window sticker, but a direct screen shot from the Ford system and it does say DAY OF.

Before:
W001 W1R 1FTFW1R66CFA71582 F-150 In Order Processing Scheduled to Day (Jan-16-2012) Ford Dearborn Assembly, MI Dec-23-2011, 00:00 EST *Jan-23-2012

Now:
W001 W1R 1FTFW1R66CFA71582 F-150 In Order Processing Scheduled to Day (Jan-19-2012) Ford Dearborn Assembly, MI Jan-06-2012 *Jan-23-2012

Clearly a shift of the Scheduled to Day dates. Prior to getting a "Schedule to Day" it said "Schedule to Week".

Reptar didnt you get the order sheet from Randy? It lists your name at the top adjacent to the Ord PEP line.

Yep I did, mine is at the top, Order #W001, and for whatever reason, out of the first 7 that were pulled, mine got pushed to the latest date, and 3 others were already built yesterday, and 3 others are scheduled for the 17th and 18th. Only mine is left till the 19th, if they don't push it out beyond that yet again. I couldn't make this shit up. I need to put this tag line back in my sig....1st to Order, Last to Receive

1/16/12 is MLK JR day, I wonder if that is why it moved to 1/19 as Monday is a holiday, would think they would of known that last month though. I wouldn't stress about it too much, a couple of days will just make getting it that mucher better!!

Yeah it is a federal holiday, and I had wondered about that, but even still, why the frig are trucks from the same dealer as me, ordered after mine, pulled for scheduling at the same time as mine, getting scheduled ahead of mine? The ones that are a day or two earlier no biggie, but the ones a WEEK or more earlier and already built?! What the heck Ford?!

And I can't help but stress about it at this point. It's not a couple of days anymore. I ordered August 26th. We're on the order of nearly six MONTHS from order to delivery now. I wasn't stressing when I heard the 1st two weeks of builds were OT2 for quality control only and mine was an OT1. That was just a couple of days I could deal with. MONTHS later drives me nuts. There's no excuse for it at this point. I sold my daily driver on October 15th expecting to only have to wait 4-6 weeks for my Raptor. My 27 year old '85 F-150 that had previously only gotten 200 miles a YEAR on it the past several years, now has over 2,000 miles on it from the past several months. I'm spending as much in repairs to keep it running as a Raptor payment would be. At this point that ol' truck is ready for retirement to weekend trips to home depot. Not every day commuting back and forth to work and everywhere else I go. So circling back, at this point, yes every day it's delayed even further is more stress, more money out of my pocket, and more wear and tear on my poor old truck, and also more miles on my fiance's 2011 5.0 that we have to take on any highway/long distance trips since the '85 can't even attempt to handle that. She is NOT happy on that one :ROFLJest:

FINALLY

2012 F-150 - VIN 1FTFW1R66CFA71582
Full History
Status
Primary - In Production
Secondary - Sent to Plant
Vehicle Location - Ford Dearborn Assembly, MI
Status Date / TimeJan-11-2012, 00:00 EST
ETA - *Jan-23-2012

Still no window sticker, but it should pop up tomorrow. I know Stu got his sticker today, and his has been 1 day ahead of mine. His was bumped to 1/18 the day before mine was bumped to 1/19. His went to "sent to plant" yesterday, mine went to "sent to plant" today. He got his window sticker today, so I should get mine tomorrow.

I'm thinking though that "sent to plant" is just indication that it was scheduled and the window sticker is ready, and the actual final assembly date is still the same as the last status before "sent to plant" because several of Randy's trucks for 1/17 were sent to plant on Monday. A few scheduled for 1/18 were sent to plant yesterday. And mine for 1/19 was sent to plant today. And in which case, I think that Jan-23-2012 ETA is a total crock of horse crap lol

Baby steps, finally making progress, but still disappointed in Ford through the whole ordeal.

Reptar,

How are you getting that information? I only have an order number for mine and a dealership thats terribly unorganized and horrible at answering questions and customer service.

Some of you guys are way over stressed on this shit. Take a ******* breather your truck will be here a lot quicker if you quite checking for it every 5 minutes. If they build it, it will come.

Got it from Randy, who I ordered from. You can call SVT as well and get updates. Give them your dealership number and your order number and they can get you a status.

Easy to speak for yourself when you're not the one who's been waiting nearly SIX months to get the truck, orderd the FIRST day in hopes of getting one of the first built, and selling your daily driver with expectations you'd only be without a ride for a few weeks, not several months on end.

I was MORE than patient for weeks and weeks and even the first FEW months. It ran out....a long time ago. Absolutley no reason it should have taken this long, and I have every right to be stressed out and ranting about it.

I understand the frustration the only point is getting worked up about it every day is not going to get it here faster. The old adage patience is a virtue applies as you will be plenty pleased in about 3 weeks when you are driving it.
