you think thats bad, when talking with a completly crooked dealership (cough right by great america in gurnee illinois cough cough), the salesman i talked to on the phone, i said i wanted a Raptor, and he asks ok did you want 4 wheel drive on it?

ok hold on and lemme ask the manager...... (comes back from hold) The manager said Ford doesnt allow us to deal on the Raptors since its an SVT, so youll be paying over sticker on it.

uhhhhh ********, cuz i can get one for -$3k off sticker...

yeah, well you better go with that then, and that sounds too good to be true.

Who is Randy and can I buy a Raptor from him? The only issue is, I live in Canada. $54,000 sounds pretty damn good to me! The Raptor I'm about to order is in the neighborhood of $81,000 all in.

I went through the same mess trying to get one. I called my local dealer and they said 5k over sticker. I called another dealer about two hours away - they said sticker. I said no thanks. Before I could hang up, he said "Do you know anybody that used to work for Ford?"

I thought to myself... surely not, but I'll try. I said, yes I do. He sold it to me at X plan. I thought surely during the 48 hours it took to get the deal together it would fall apart but it didn't. I can't imagine they got that back from Ford!!

Where is the dealer number located on the stickers? I have a second truck on order - no VIN yet, but I do have the order number. I have the window sticker off my first truck that came from the same dealer.

So if I'm correct, I can call SVT with my order number and my dealer number and get an update??

I don't see the dealer number on my sticker. I do see it on my order confirmation.

Yes, if you give your order number and dealer number to SVT they can give you information, though it may only be that the order is "processing". They can tell you if you have a VIN or not, though they told me the dealer will have to give me the actual VIN. SVT also told me my build date. Once they told me I had a VIN, I called my dealer and the dealer was able to give it to me. It still took a little while before I could see my sticker though.

Question about the sticker. I noticed that some guys have their name on the sticker and others dont. For those of you that dont see your name at the bottom, is you name listed on your order paperwork or not?

Just depends if your dealer entered it in your name, or their stock #
