Got it from Randy, who I ordered from. You can call SVT as well and get updates. Give them your dealership number and your order number and they can get you a status.

Easy to speak for yourself when you're not the one who's been waiting nearly SIX months to get the truck, orderd the FIRST day in hopes of getting one of the first built, and selling your daily driver with expectations you'd only be without a ride for a few weeks, not several months on end.

I was MORE than patient for weeks and weeks and even the first FEW months. It ran out....a long time ago. Absolutley no reason it should have taken this long, and I have every right to be stressed out and ranting about it.

hey! i first ordered my truck in april, and didnt really get the one i truly wanted till october..... tho i did get one in between for a little bit, then had to give it up and start the wait over again! i know pain.....

I understand the frustration the only point is getting worked up about it every day is not going to get it here faster. The old adage patience is a virtue applies as you will be plenty pleased in about 3 weeks when you are driving it.

Whether I post up or not, neither way is going to get it here faster. And staying involved on the forum, and seeing how other guys who ordered way back when with me, it does make things a little easier to share in one anothers misery.

There's a point where patience is a virtue, and a point when it's not a matter of patience anymore, it's Ford ******** me over by dragging me along with no good reason. And even ranting about Ford delaying my build and pushing me along, I'm still being patient, because I haven't cancelled and jumped ship and bought something else instead. There's quite a few who couldn't deal with the wait and stick it out and have cancelled.

I am patient, but I'm not happy about it, nor should I be.

lol true, but April till October is about the same amount of time I'm waiting for mine, and I don't have a Raptor to drive during the wait haha. And if it were a material hold that was dragging my order along I'd understand, but since it's not, it's an even bigger "WTF?" lol.

Not so sure about all that. I went from a supercharged 00 HD truck with 25k miles as my daily driver, to an 85 F-150 with 163k miles as my daily driver. Talk about going back in time, and way down on power, handling, braking, pretty much everything lol. I do enjoy driving my '85 from time to time, but every day use, it gets old fast. Broken down several times, usually on the way to somewhere i was in a hurry to get to. Have to fill it up every 3 days with it's tiny *** tank. Have to drive with the window open even in frigid weather to keep the fumes out. Can't do over 55 or things vibrate way too much. :ROFLJest:

Of course going from a 27 year old truck to a brand new Raptor will be a night and day jump  So that part of it will be nice. i'll be appreciating even the small features of the Raptor...such as I don't need to drive it with 2 feet in the cold to keep it from stalling. Or it doesn't leave puddles of oil from a leaky rear main seal when I park. lol

And your last point, yep all this waiting will seem like nothing in the grand scheme of things. Down the road 6 months, a year, a few years, whatever, I'll be glad I waited it out and didn't bail on the truck. BUT, I won't be happy about having to had wait that long and get drug along by Ford for no good reason.

Side note, got my sticker this morning....build is still 1/19 on the sticker :birgits_tiredcoffee Fingers crossed for a 1/30 or 1/31 delivery so I can still get it by February. Unfortunately I don't think there's any chance left I'll have it by the 28th for our local club's winter bash.

That is going to be a sweet truck Reptar and from reading the above paragraph you are going to be in heaven when you drive this thing. That build date should stick I don't think I have heard of that changing around too much looks like you have a birth date - step 2

Yep, 6 more days till my hooptie is born!!!!

Going to go a huntin' for insurance this afternoon and see what company will screw me the least lol. I've got a clean record, I just hate dealing with insurance agents.

When i insured my HD truck, my policy went UP to insure my 2000 HD than what it was for my 2004 L. Yeah that makes sense, all the same safety equipment, half the horsepower, same body style vehicle, net worth is less, so lets INCREASE the insurance rate for an OLDER, LESS valueable, SAME safety standard vehicle. WTF?!

Oh we'll give you this great deal.....till you renew. Oh you did AAA driving school? Yeah we'll give you a discount when your policy renews! WTF why did my rate go UP after I gave you proof of my safe driving class? Oh the rates had updated, so when we applied that discount they were updated, don't worry, they only went up 10% but you saved 5% by the certificate! Thanks azzholes, doesn't take a genius to know that it means you're charging me 5% MORE now though. lol. Sorry sir, everyone's rates went up. Oh really? My fiance has the same insurance company on her 2011 mustang, didnt' submit AAA driver school certificate, and hers went DOWN on her renewal. Care to tell the truth now on why you're trying to f-me?
