First off, I believe you. 2nd off, I sincerely hope your truck is fixed and you are properly squared away in the soonest possible time frame.

that said, you’re torturing yourself. There may be a dozen, a hundred, a thousand, it doesn’t matter; as far as your concerned the failure rate is 100%!

Don’t fall into the confirmation bias trap. The internet is a place like the 6 o’clock news, if it bleeds it leads. People don’t do blog posts about nothing happening or write in forums about a non eventful day.

You can’t change what’s happened to your truck already, you can only deal with the issue at hand. it’s tempting to unearth problems of others and see if you’re not alone, but it’s a frustrating endeavor that will not provide satisfaction. I’ve been where you are and more than once. I know it probably doesn’t mean a whole lot, but I’m pulling for you to get the truck back, fixed properly as soon as possible. all the negative feelings you’re having now, all the dirt you unearth on the internet is just going to add stress to your life that you don’t need.

All good words.. thanks. I thought long and hard about buying a g2. And now that I have and it’s proven to be a problem is a hard pill to swallow. I’ll get over it but it’s definitely made me on the grumpy side. Thanks for the well worded reply.

I hear you, and you’re welcome. I’ve been there, only when it was my turn, I was 19, with my first new vehicle, and making cr@p money so I had to beg rides from friends, family, scrounge and be embarrassed at having spent all the money on a new truck only to have it end up in the shop for months.

you’ll get through this and probably less than a month after it’s fixed, you’ll start to forget it happened. not completely, it will always be there in the back of your mind, but you’ll be able to look past it.

Ya, it sucks bad. I am in a Gen2 because my still under warranty Gen1 shit the bed so bad it was going to be gone for months. (the diff blew and the replacement part was being redesigned, it ended up taking like 150 days to fix it). All vehicles will have bad ones, it sucks, but that is the way it is. Hopefully they will get you fixed up, and if it takes too long, push them to swap you out with a different Gen2, I think you said you only had 150 miles on the stupid thing.

I’m confused why they show the raptor only doing burnouts. Cuz that’s exactly what people buy them for

Over here in europe me driving a raptor is something exotic and you probably will not find a single velociraptor or any oh hen... cars on our roads your entire life.

Is more a personal thing or re engines blowing`up all the time???

It started with shady dealings with the Viper crowd. Lots of lawsuits ensured. Search- it's all out there.

they've been caught leveraging some pretty unsavory business practices before.

not sure when the last verified case of said behavior was, but it has happened in the past.

I'm interested to know if they took a stock raptor and retrofitted a coyote, or if they did what others are doing and retrofitted everything else from a raptor to an f-150.

If they got the computer voodoo right when swapping the v8 into a stock raptor, they seem to be the first shop to do so successfully, which is something I'd personally love to chat with them about.

...exactly!
That`what I thought about that too.
although I think conversions like that will not be possible over here in europe
